 I was contacted by phone. They told me they were offering me a reduced repayment plan for my student loans. They told me that if I set up an automatic payment from my checking account that they would take 95 dollars for three months and 39 dollars per month for 24 months and that would take care of my loan. After more than a year of making these payments, I found out that nothing had been applied to my student loan. And that the people at the federal student loans had no record of any payments or agreements.
