Verizon/Xfinity Visa card scam Nationwide

Waiting 7mos for a comcast/verizon $100 Visa card for upgrading a verizon cell phone through Comcast. Third party company handles the cards and coninually hang up on you or say its in esculation but denies you have contacted them when calling back. A comcast representative had the same problem when contacting them. I called Jul 23 and asked a lady if  i should continue calling or is this a scam she said she had her doubts as lots of people are not receiving cards. How can this happen with 2 huge companies being involved and numerous complaints on the internet?
