I am well aware that I was buying fake/replica items when I ordered the mont blanc replica pens. However, I did expect at least reasonable quality items comparative to what I was spending.

After paying $130 AUD I received 1 pen that fell apart and one which was clip was loose and overall was not value for money. It had poor and sticky operating movement to extend nib to write. I have bought better quality pens in a $2 shop.

I have dealt with Mont Blanc pens for a number of years and I have heard this same story many times over. The fact of the matter is that Mont Blanc is trademarked and as a company, they keep a very close eye on the "replicas" floating around. The simple solution here is not to buy a replica and expect anything close to the real deal. If you want a writing instrument that will give the prestige and acknowledgment of a Mont Blanc, just buy a real one. To actually pay $130 for a fake that falls apart, when you can have authentic for $300 really is a ripoff.
