I ordered the new Samsung Galaxy S4 from Tmobile.com on May 01th and received it overnight on May 02nd. I tested and tried the phone for a day and I didn’t like it because of the laggy operating system and because of its massive size. (Android 4.2.1) Then I called T-Mobile customer service and asked them how I can return the phone by mail. The customer service lady told me to open the box and to find the prepaid label in the box.

I opened the box and found the prepaid label and then told me the address to check if it is the correct return address and it was. Next day on May 2nd , I went to UPS to ship it back and the UPS guy told me that this is not a UPS return label. It was a standard US Postal service return prepaid label. I said okay to him and took the photo of the return label just for an evidence. I have the photo evidence of the return label.

I left the package to UPS and left. After a week I called the T-Mobile in order to check the refund status and they informed me that they do not see the phone as delivered. And the whole problem started like this. I called every single day afterwards to check if they received the phone and they kept saying no and no. After every call I learnt that this is a T-Mobile Scam that they do on purpose. And here is how the T-Mobile scam works.

When you call them for the return address label confirmation, they give you the same address as in the original box. In the box only one prepaid return label comes and it is a standard US Postal service prepaid label which is non trackable. They do not want to be tracked because they do not want the client come with the evidence.

It is a priority mail prepaid label. I have the photo of the label if anyone wants to see it. Once you send the phone to that address, basically the phone will be lost because the address is for Recycle Unit address. Then they claim that they have no authority in that recycle center and they say they can’t find any phone which is sent there so basically you can forget your new phone which in my case it was a brand new S4 and it is $640. And they force you to pay the phone that you never used.

Think about how many people like me sent the phones to this unit and think about how many millions of dollars they made with this scam ? Basic calculation. If three hundred thousand people sent the phone back they make profit of $192000000 (One Hundred Ninety Two Million Dollars !!!) Today is May 23rd and I am still calling them every day thinking maybe I can find a reasonable supervisor who can refund my money back but so far none. I spend one hour every day talking to them and I am extremely frustrated.

I wish I never switched from ATT & T-Mobile.
