Acer Aspire Bad Customer Service and Tech Issue Internet
I bought an Acer Aspire computer from my local walmart. It would not work properly. When I brought it out of the box to charge it up and connect to my internet it would connect, but then 5 minutes later it disconnected. I bought this computer for $298 on July 17, 2011. It keeps connecting and disconnecting. So I called tech support the next day. They did a few things, and tried to tell me it was hardware issues. Well they said I would have to pay $169.99 to resolve software issues. I said I dont have the money for something I had just bought for $298 that should work to begin with for that much money. He proceeds to tell me well can you borrow the money from friends and family. Im not going to pay for something to fix my computer when I just bought the computer for $298, the previous night, when it should be working in the first place. This guy was rude and only cared about the money and not about the issues I was having. I should not of had to pay for something like that to fix my computer when I just bought it straight from the store and took it out of the box.
This is not the first time this has happened. I bought an Acer computer before this and it did the same thing. So I took it back to walmart and got this one.
I think these computers need recalled if they are having this issue. I know that it isnt my connection because we have 3 other computers here running off the same connection and they all work fine. My g/f and I both have the older versions of Acer aspire and they work properly. Just that I needed a new computer because I have had this one for 3 years and thought I would purchase a new one. Well Acer can take their computers and do something with them because they lost several customers.
