Whomever wrote this thing about this company is telling the truth. Since the new plant manager and new v.p of engineering have taking over the place it is cumbling. This place has been lucky to make it this far. A couple good people have helped keep this place afloat and its definetly not the P.Manager. I'm pretty sure they did the thing with the water bottles so the stupid union would be voted back in.

If it wasn't for the P.Manager the union would be long going, and the people that they chose to force, fire, or any other way they did it would probably still be working here. I just wish the new President of the company could see what is exactly going on in this place, hopefully sooner than later, because all of or jobs are on the line because of two people that don't know how to do anything.

We have a V.P of engineering getting overpaid just like the P.Manager. They are worthless. If they were fired or even just quit tomorrow. The place would be alot better off. They are only hurting us not helping. I hope this reaches all the employees working here and the ones that used to. Get the word out or we will all be out of a job. Thanks, The caring one.

I worked for c.t.a. for a long time, and guess what i got for christmas! the c.e.o. told his suckie supervisors that we were no longer needed. that at the end of our shift we were done. dont call us,we will never call you. dont worry about finishing out the week, i need money for christmas presents and a plane trip to conn. so we decided to leave at 4, what were they going to do,write us up for a leave early.I hope they didnt give me a point! i dont want it to go on my record and them try to fire me.by the way hope you can make that gift card of 50.00 last till next year. so at least some of us wont have to worry about our thighs getting so big when we walk , we wont spontaiously combust ,and burn the place down.

I think it's time to get rid of the new employees. We don't have enough work for all of us, let alone people that don't work. They are only there for who they know or should i say the rest? We are somewhat educated and know what that means.We can be a weather spotter some where else,it dosent take a lot of brains to predict snow, rain or sun, just watch the weather channel.for you people that have cable its 26. Maybe head q.c. can look up the days events unstead of talking on the phone or chatting with her ne b.f.f.,by the way who she threw under the bus.Watch your back. We cant do nothing to do but relax cause were on vacation in another 3 weeks. why should anyone with senority have to make way for rejects, who quit and want to come back? He thought he was to good, bob showed him and didnt take his back stabbing ways. If he needs extra money im sure he could find stuff to sell to the scrap yard. Ron wouldnt know to run a business if he had to. Thats why he didnt even tell the union about a lay off. he is worried about losing employees,he should be, it seems like he goes out of his way to piss them off.we are 2nd class citizens in his eyes,a d he dosent listen to us,if he does he runs back and tells everyone so why bother. Hey dont blame the union for the mess the blame should go o the big man Ron and the rest of his misfit crew. If they could do their job's then maybe we could do ours.

First you have a QC department that could not find their a** with both hands.
They are to caught up in the rumor mill games,And causing problems.

Second you have way to many people people in management really do we need two people to order for us because neither one of them can do their job we still run out of everything.

Then your have the supervisors who think their s**T dont stink.They talk all kinds of crap about the hourly employees. Hate to tell them they are not all that. The new one that's talk all kind of crap about his employee's guess its his lie and he can tell it any way he wants.(everyone on third knows what I'm talking about so watch your backs he's no better then the queen bee)

And if we are so slow why are the new people still here? could it be favoritism.
We all know who that involves. So like i said dont blame the union blame Ron.

He didnt even tell the union about the layoff and he wont even return their calls.

But i not seeing that. I see I need a supervisor I need maintenance man to fix my pump I need a pc to put my roving's and matt's in I need some one to help me do my roving's
I running a bad part I don't know what to do.
I cant read or understand process book.

So you think that makes you a candidate to be a p-3

I also hear about the same people running scrap everyday getting day's off getting wrote up.

But to him its just fun and games. Keep the machine stocked with donuts and hes happy as a clam. Nothing else really matters. My job tools are scissors, stapler, tape measure, etc. His tools are cell phone, donuts and smokes. And a whole arsenol of lies to keep trouble brewing.

I have alot of inside info about how hes trying to make life miserible for Andrea and others. I won't put it on here because I need my job.When I have had enough I will let people know everything because everyone needs to know. He thinks i am his confidiant. NOT. He is always cutting down Andrea to all of us. This is true. I hear him everyday say something about her. He even tells us lies about her husband to try to make her life here miserible.

Now he's telling us that she's the next one to go. Mr. CEO, this Joker needs to be the next one to go. Why would you even listen to him? Why is he allowed to harass all of us and now management to? He does nothing for this company and he's ruining everything for all of us. I get a sick feeling everytime I leave home to go to work. And its not because of my job. I like my job. I used to work at Dexter Pultrusions then Omega and I was a line operator. My bro works at CTA and he told me about this blog.

When I was there there was no wandering around and you had to run your line. Nobody did your brakedowns and you had to explain your scrap. If your parts were rejected you got wrote up and it didn't matter who ya were. Operators had to know how to fix there problems on there own. It was the rule. There were rules and they were followed.
I don't know this donut eating guy. I think its childish to call him names on here but if he's really not taking control like D**** tells me, then they need to fire his ***. It sounds like a 3 ring circus without a ringmaster. How can you operate a plant from a cell phone in the parking lot?Thats just crazy. And a rip off to all employees.
I agree that ya need someone in charge that knows the process esp. if people are running scrap on purpose. Thats just nuts. Why aren't they being stopped? When I was there, all of the supervisors were experienced line operators and they'd know if they were being scammed. I hear thats not the case anymore. That the shop manager don't even know what parts are what and theres a supervisor that is clueless and hes there because hes the shop managers buddy? Crazy. The process is to involved to have people in charge that don't know it and are kept around because they buddied up to the shop manager. Then unhappy employees that are being lied to is gonna make a real mess here. Its easy to scam and brake stuff down on purpose and hide it if ya wanna. I know Jack, Andrea, bob S. Bill A. Jack knows them lines probably better than anyone. Bob S. is good to and there lucky they got Bill A. now with EH in charge. The Eng. dept needs a real eng and Bills the best in there.Bill should be running that dept. and I thought that years ago. I know Andrea to and I agree she'd be good to put in charge of the plant. She's to smart to scam and she can run any line in the plant. They need someone with some sense to run the place.

If they want this place to last they need to get rid of people that aren't pulling there weight and giveing 110%. Alot of jobs are at stake here and action needs to be taking. I worked here a long time and it wasn't a real bad job. Theres still enough good people there to make it work. I'd like to see it be around a while. And this blog appears to be caused by one person. That says something.

That woman shouldn't be running a line at all. In fact she should be in the unemployment line along with Jimmy, Art, and her main squeeze Blaze. I need to hurry up so I'll do my best. Gotta get to work ya know. I also agree about Andrea Crawford. She would be the best person to put in charge of this place. I agree with everything the last person wrote on here. She helps anybody and everybody out with whatever problems that they have. It was great when they put her in the quality department last year. The doughnut boy said it was his idea. I doubt that, especially the way he runs his mouth about her now. It's sad that everyone has to write stuff on here. That's because everyone is seeing now that the C.E.O. of this company is a cupcake. If he was the hard *** that Jack says he was then the doughnut King wouldn't be here anymore. If your so afraid to get rid of him then have someone else do it. I'm sure he's sitting in his office reading this right now. He knows that the place would make it without him. I sometimes feel like a robot, i can relate. But I think the real robot is the parking lot patroler. His routine is simple. Buy the donuts, head out the no smoking door, light one up, rip into the donuts, jam one or two, rub the powder that he driped out of his mouth into the il-fitted shirt then get on the phone. Hang out with the union pals, tell a few lies about all of us and whats going on with our jobs and than head back in. Walk over to Ms.P-3 to talk union news and see whats going on in the plant because niether one of them knows a **** thing about running a line, walk down the center catwalk, get on the phone do a plant perimater check then start all over. He never knows whats happening in the plant because thats not at the top of his to do list. Gossip, lies and doing everything he can to destroy the company and all of us is #1.

We all no you are worthless and you are the biggest rip off of all. This place is never gonna make it with you here Mr. Donut Jammer. And when ya go why don't you take your union with you. Because if it wasn't for you and your stupid rules that you don't even follow the union would of been long gone.None of us wanted it here but you made sure it stayed so you had buddys and job security for yourself.

I disagree with you, "I can run my line". It's ashame that you feel like nobody cares because I believe that our president does care. I worked at Omega and all of its many names for many years and for all of those years, I NEVER felt comfortable walking right into the CEO's office and saying whatever I had to say UNTIL now. And, I voiced my concerns to him the first week he was here back in 2006.

I have yet to see anyone walk into his office and voice concerns. I really think you'd see what a good person you're working for and feel like real idiots for all of this nonsense if you'd just give him a chance. I also think that you might see more results than you'll ever get out of slamming the company and each other on here for the world to see how ignorant you can be.

There are some issues that need to be straightened around here, but all of this is just not a productive solution.

I seen the same thing today on line 11. But ya know, running a line is a inconvienence when your reading the union contract and writting greivences and chatting it up with the joker. How many of us can have both cavitys down all day long like that? Not anyone on our shift unless your our gal. She shouldn't be running a line at all and thats as big a rip off as the overpaid parking lot attendant, Batman. What is going on here? I bust my **** here everyday and I watch the union run the company and the union rep can't even do the job shes being paid to do. Sometimes ya just feel like giveing up and have the I don't care atitude to. Why not rip the co. off along with everyone else. I have asked myself and many others this same question, Riddler. I get ripped off everytime the joker fires up a smoke in the parking lot because he should be doing the job hes making the big bucks to do. Or when the union agrees to another crazy idea that we haven't even had the chance to agree on. We get riped off all the way around. Union dues is a big waste because we don't even get a chance to meet and talk about decisons that our "P3" union gal makes with the smokin joker on our behalfs! Why can't we just get rid of the stupid union and the joker. Then we could work together and things would be fair for everyone once and for all.

Well I just returned home from another great day at work. I'm sure everyone has seen what has been going on with line 11. Well Ms. P-3 is at it again. When is she going to learn how to run a line? I've been there for awhile now and it didn't take me 7 or 8 years to learn how to do my job. The sad thing is, that anyone who has a clue for the exception of a few are only P-2's. The only one who wanted her a P-3 was the one and only doughnut boy. (Unbeleivable) I heard alot about this blog but really never paid any attention to it. Everything I've read is the truth. The Plant Manager is ripping off the company no matter how you look at it. Giving money out to some people that don't deserve it. What a joke. This is the only way we can vent our fustrations cause nobody will listen. When you had a question before, you could go right into anybody's office and ask. Everyone's afraid to say anything now because if you not in the doughnut boys group you can just forget it. There was only one person that I can think of that voiced his opinion and he is no longer with us. I'm sure you no who I'm talking about. It was wrong, that's all I have to say. I wish the man up front would do something about this joker cause we all need our jobs. Atleast the ones who care, not the ones who are running scrap on purpose. That's nuts. I didn't quit. I turned in a two weeks notice just like someone else did, but they didn't want me to work there anymore. I ask to stay but you all know who didn't want me there because I signed myself out of the union. The crap that he told the C.E.O. of the company is wrong. I was called into his office by him and the man that got the sign to hang up in the plant. He told me he was there to make sure I was otta there for good. The next thing they said was you need to talk to the C.E.O. next Wed. and see if he would like you to stay or not. I never got that chance. I was in the office again the next Wed. before I could go talk to the C.E.O. He told me that the C.E.O. said my last day was to be friday. I never beleived that for a minute. Oh well. I wouldn't quit my job when my family and I are trying to make 2 car payment and a house payment. We came really close to losing our house due to all this nonsense. I did my job and did it well. I know both my supervisor's would agree along with the head of engineering. I never wanted to leave I just couldn't deal with the harassment I was getting every other day. I really miss working there but stuff happens. So OLD MAN, that's what went down. I can't put alot of the stuff on here cause they wouldn't post the last one I wrote. So OLD MAN, why do you hide behind a fake name. I didn't, just like I said, I didn't quit either.

I work at CTA and I am amazed at all of the foolish, ridiculous comments I have read on here.

I am thankful that I have a job when unemployment is so high. I am thankful that I am healthy enough to work when there are so many people too sick to work in the world. I am grateful for the opportunities that I have been given in my life; it is so different in other countries.

CTA is a good company and we are very lucky to even have jobs right now. I guess it's true that you don't know what you got until it's gone. Many times I have wondered that maybe everyone @ CTA would have been a little less inclined to slam the company had they been unemployed for a few months during the bankruptcy of Omega. Maybe people would be more grateful today if they had lost something back then? Sadly, this is the thanks our new owners get. How can all of you be so ungrateful? How can you tell lies like this then go into work each day?

Nobody got ripped off here except the new owners who inherited all of ungrateful morons who work here.

I think one of the biggest problems here is the union. Look around.. who are the people that are the so called VIP's? Who are the people that are outside smoking and wandering around all day long? I run a line and i used to try. I can run my line alot better than i do now. I gave up the day that I was made a P2 and they handed P3 to people that can't even do a breakdown on there own. I know Lp is a p3 because bob h wanted her to be and everyone knows she can't run a line. so, why should i try anymore? I don't.

I don't care if my line brakes down and neither does anyone else. If bob h. cared about the place he'd have a clue about whats going on and he don't. Its all talk. everyone talks and talks about stuff but it doesn't happen. were in a downward spirel and nobody even gives a ****. New people dont even get trained on the job.

I'm just hanging out until i find a new job and i look everyday. The'll see when its to late.

See if Bob h. and LP can replace the 4 or 5 people that realy know whats going on. Never happen. Lets see the VP of eng. run 200 series and try to put rovings in holes ya can't eves see. Lets see bob h. run something. Neither one of them even know one part from the next and bob h. don't care to know. He works his 8- 4 hrs in the parking lot and 4 on the phone then hes gone. How do you run a plant like that? You don't and thats pretty clear here.

Blaze said we all should a pulled our money together and bought the place. We had a plan. A couple bake sales, some car washes and Blaze was even gonna sell his earth moving equipment. Remember? My sister had her mobile homes for all 3 of them. Then the 401 k money we all had. Blaze had ideas and they were good plans but nobody wanted to listen. Now look at the place. Its just a mess. I know thats why Bob H. made shure that Blaze is gone because he had all kinds of ideas to save us from being ripped off here. He was a smart man. They don't keep the smart guys here

We could of ran this place and none of us would be getting riped off today like we are with Bob H. here. We could of drank soda pop like mountain dew and bubba cola anytime we wanted and even had a slim jim every now and again without being treated like a prisioner like we are now.

We might of had to take a pay cut but we would of still had our jobs, I afeared now because its not looking good for us here.

I used to work at Omega (before it was CTA) back in the late 90's and I am really amazed at all that I am reading. This sounds really insane crazy to me.

A close friend of mine works here right now and she said its all true. When I was there we walked the line and thats how it was. There was no wandering around and smoking and whatever else is happening here now. Wow.

I couldn't imagine Jimmy O. paying our bills or Tom D. dating a worker. My friend said this **** is true. But she said this new fella (Doughboy) is a weird crackerjack of a dude that really doesn't do 1/2 of what Jimmy O. did. How do you run a plant and not know whats happening? And they can't drink soda or coffee in the plant? Is it a prison or what. And she said that really good people are fired for no real good reason. It wasn't like that when I worked there. Jimmy O. was a good dude.

I'm glad to be gone. I was gonna reapply but NO WAAAYYYY now!!!! This is just all wrong for these poor people.

I got fired for attendence but my attendence wasn't as bad as alot of other peoples. I had problems and I still do. My situations don't matter because donut man don't like me. I don't like him either and i don't see how anyone can.

I think that he has his certain favorites for xrated reasons and workplace affairs are a no no. he's not very proffesional in his work place ideas and all of that.

I wasn't gonna write on here but a couple of my coworkers said that it might be our only hope for a job. Kinda crazy but the place worrying me anymore. Its probablly a waist of time but i guess it lets my co workers know i haven't been sucked in to his crap.

I haven't been there a really long time but a long time 12 yrs. I have seen alot of good and bad but nothing as bad as it is rite now. I felt really good when the new people got the place over Tracy because I thought that he would only run the place in the ground. He didn't care about us and anyone that says he did is crazy. What a sneeky snake he was.

I liked the new people when they met with us because I thought they had alot of concern for us because they kept everyone. I still think Ron is a ok person but he isn't around alot. He really needs to be around us more because alot of people have alot to say to him. I would like to know somethings to!

So, Mr. Ron these questions are for you. Why did they let John C. go when he was the best set up person in the plant? Why was Bill G. disqualafied when LP cant even run a line and shes a p3? Why did they get rid of Rocky and leave the 2nd shift hanging high and dry with no QC? Why can some people run scrap all day long and others get fired? Why do we have "mass lay offs " and the parking lot is full when you drive by? Why do my coworkers tell me they worked during the "mass lay off "but Bob H. told them to lie to me?Why can some peoples line stay down all shift while there outside smoking with Bob h. but I get hounded all day long by my supervisor if my line breaks down? Why is LP running simple lines (shes a P3) and i'm a p2 running series 200 profiles? Why do we have to drink water from moldy water coolers and why don't we have a choice in what we drink? Why is the company paying for everyone to have uniforms and 1/2 of the people don't even wear them? Why are utility people that can't even put a mat in giveing us brakes and running a bunch of scrap and braking lines down? Why is the plant always such a mess? Why are so many of us so unhappy with the same person (bob h.?) Why do we have to work in these condtions and put up with him? Why is he here?

The place really isn't that bad if you remove the problem and he is the problem because he made all of these problems. The joint is at a all time low and YOU need to fix it. TREATING PEOPLE FAIR GOES A LONG WAY. NOT TELLING US TO LIE TO EACH OTHER MEANS YOU RESPECT US. WE FEEL LIKE DIRT BECAUSE OF HIM.

The man in charge needs to act like hes in charge and that means he needs to keep his personnel life out of the plant. and, TB is really a fool if she beleives anything the lier even says. Everyone know what hes all about and the best thing he could do to help this company is leave. They need to save money get rid of the worthless one. Its relly simple. Hes divideing everyone up by telling lies about us and playing favorites. Good people have been fired becuz of HIM.

And whoever said that this rip off report isnt for employers is wrong because hes the biggest rip off i have ever seen. He got hired for picking up a piece of paper but he wouldn't even be a good janiter because the plant is a big mess. WATER COOLERS ARE A MOLDY MESS!! Things get cleaned up when theres a visitor. We did that without the doughboy. why can't things be real and honest and why does everytime someone walks thru we have to bust our ***** to makes thigs right? Its HIS job to keep things right ALL the time. But he can't do that when hes wooing the ladies and jammin powder donuts in the parking lot.

What gives? I'll tell ya what gives- us. We give and give all the time. Pretty soon we'll be giveing up our jobs at what was once a great place to work becuz of one person who relly could careless about US, this company or probablly anyone accept himself. If he cared he'd leave and never look back. He is making a mess here. Its sad that anyone could think TR is a better choice. But the KING gets my vote over the Doughboy parking lot attendent anyday. TR at least had a clue.

We are all adults and I think it's time to grow up. Many of us have worked together for many years and I think that we need to look at the real issues here.

We run our lines as best as we can and we work our best to do the job that is expected. We are supposed to be a united team here, so why are we turning on co- workers?

The p3's were not chosen by us but by management. Not ONE hourly person picked these people for these classifications. Why are they being dragged through the mudd here? Talk to management if you're unhappy.

Mo does the job that she is expected to do each day. Mo gets everything that she is assigned done everyday. I have NEVER know her not to help anyone who needs a hand, either. You should be ashamed of yourself for trying to tear her down! She is a good worker.

And why are you spreading unfounded rumors about Terry? TERRY IS A GOOD, DECENT PERSON. Leave her alone- she doesn't need the crap. She can't even defend herself when you're hiding behind some insane name. Obviously you WANT to believe your lies. Terry is nice to everyone, so why try to hurt her?

This craziness is is tearing the workforce apart and we really do not need it all. We have a lot of problems to tend to; why are we creating more? This company needs to make it for ALL of our sake or we wouldn't be here. PERIOD. Let's try to get along and quit all of the back stabbing. We have a lot of important work to do here. There will be better days ahead.

I think what they did to Rocky and John was wrong. Rocky did a good job and I think that we need her really bad right now becuz we are haveing alot of problems with quality now. Thank God we have Andrea but i don't know how long she is goona last because its just to much for her to do with only 2 people.People just don't care anymore becuz they don't have to care. Bob H. doesn't care so why should anyone else? You can't run a plant from the parking lot. I bet he doesn't even knew what parts are what. He trys to be everyones buddy with sharing cigaretes with people and you name it. Where is the role model here. Who is in charge and who is the authority person? NOBODY. And thats why were all *****. Every night Bob H.'s buddy Jack F. spends most of his night in the smoking tent. Then When Bob H. gets here they smoke it up together becuz Jack F. is his buddy!
I work on 3rd so I see it frist hand every night.
And the hillbillie know it all on 3rd doing set up is just as bad as the donut eater running the plant and all of the other crazyness gong on there right now.The hillbillie has never been able to set up a line.He makesa mess and I won't even start up anything that I know he atempted to line up. Bill G. did a much better job but he was disqualified becuz thats how we operate at CTA. We keep the good people down and let the idiots run the plant. Were determined to fail at CTA. How can't Ron C. see what is happening. Maybe he realy doesn't care. I hope that's not true becuz alot of us think Ron is a good guy.

John and Rocky are definetely more valuible than Bob H. but they are gone becuz valuible people here don't really matter. We might actually be sucessful if we would keep good people and we cannot have that happen. What REALLY matters is if the weirdo donut eater likes you. If he doesn't like you then you pretty much have to fight to keep your job and WATCH YOUR BACK. HOW IS THIS HELPING ANYONE? It is helping in Bob H.'s quest to fail and he is suceeding there nobody can deny that. LOOK AROUND.

Wait and see that more good people are gonna leave becuz Bob H. is out of control and people won't put up with it. He is ruining the place with all of the lies he tells us, the back stabbing and his don't give a **** atitude is catching. If he's in charge running the plant from a smoking tent then I can run my line from out there beside him. I don't like donuts but I can smoke like a freight train just like the weirdo and he gives me cigaretes when i'm running low. I can't loose. I am a operator but not a P3 and I run the hardest lines all the time. I work beside a p3 operator that breaks her line down everyday even thou she never runs anything hard. I asked why i am a p2 and she is a p3 but i am always told lies by the donut king.

I give up trying because of the lies from him. Nobody thinks she should be a p3 but her buddy and she can't run anything. Most of the P3 people shouln't even be running a line at all. I have been there a long time and I have done most all of the jobs there and I can run all of the lines but I don't rate because I am not a part of his group. I can set up lines better than 2 of the set up guys there now that John is gone but I am still not qualafied to be a p3 but she is even thou she don't even stay on her line and watch it when its breaking down.

As long as HE is there none of the hard workers will matter and our atitudes will get worse until we are as worthless as his chosen group. People are tired of the crap and give up. That is just how it is. And writting on here is the only way we can be heard.

WE ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT CAN MAKE A DIFERENCE AT THE END OF THE DAY. And if i don't want to run my line 50 I won't. If I want to run scrap, I will. I still get paid and the p3s are getting paid more to break lines down and hang out. So, why shouldn't I? I can lie about what happened just like I get lied to. Just another bad day

And we feel the pain of him being gone everytime we have to start up a line now. The set ups take way to long and there ****** up everyime somethings torn out and put back in. They have made alot of mistakes but we all know this was the worst for us and them. They are still paying for this one. Most every set up has to be done over again by 1st shift, JD. I know hes feeling the pain!

This place will never change and anybody that thinks it will is mad wack out of there mind. I have been here a long time and there are the same 10 people pulling this broken down reck along. Everyone else is just along for the ride. No matter how rough the ride is it doesnt matter because when your here there IS a such thing as a free lunch.

It's always been this way and it's been the SAME people for about 2-1/2 decades now. Look at the senorety list and look at the top 15 peoplethis is this places only salvastion. Donut eatin doughboys will come and go without any loss. We have seen all kinds- gimps fallin down the steps, hillbillys that doubeled as spotters in bad whether out in the parking lot, supervisors steeling computers from the company and sleeping in the parking lot,supervisors calling off on the frist day of work and it is ok, a card shark quality man playing card games all day long, the bugle boy, The Great Oz and a KING (kiss my ring). Except for someone to make jokes about they were never a lose. And still arent a lose.

We only have really about 5 people that can run a line, 1 desent supervisor,2 good utility people, RT in the back,and one good mantenance man. That is all. This group has not changed in years and it won't unless they leave then we all need to look for a job because no donut eatin doughboy will ever fill there shoes!!!! This place would fold faster than the gimp back flipped from step 8 to the bottom of the stairs and into the I beam.

I gave him a 9 becuz he tore his button up on the no skid and landed on a employee.

I worked here when it was Omega and it wasn't a bad place to work. I think it is pretty sad that if it is really like this now because many people worked very hard to make Omega a good place to work.

It used to be like family when I was there and there was none of this crazy name calling. We had a desent plant manager Jim O. and everyone liked him. He did a good job holding things together and people were looked at like they are important. I take it that Jim must be gone because i dont rember a powder donut adiction!! And Jim worked with us on pretty much everything because he knew the jobs and the parts.

Maybe everyone just needs to try to get along and voice your concerns to management insted of on a internet blog. It might help more then all of this. This seems kinda dumb to me.

I used to work at Omega and liked my job very much. I learned alot of stuff from what I beleive is the one person this company let go. Bad mistake. I don't beleive I know this plant manager guy, but it seems to me from what I'm reading here on this blog he doesn't have a clue. I don't understand why you would let the best set-up person that you have go. I quit there because I couldn't deal with the supervisor anymore. I thought we where suppose to run within the parameters that where in the book, but I was wrong. The book said 18-24"s a min. but I was to run it at 36 and keep running scrap in the process. I turned it down to 28, was running a good part and the supervisor came over and turned it up again. I was done. Sounds like the same old stuff is going on there. They need to put someone in charge that has a clue of the whole process, not a doughnut eating doughboy that doesn't have a clue. I heard her was hired because he picked up some paper off of the floor. I think they sould of made him the janitor instead of the plant manager. I still keep in touch we some of the people there and it sounds pretty bad. I'm kinda glad I don't work there anymore cause I wouldn't be able to stand there and run my line and watch to goings on because I always speak my mind. That's why I beleive John isn't there no more. He will never be replaced by anyone that I know works there know because nobody has the skills like he did. They should of made him the plant manager. He could probably do a better job than this one you have now. I think I might put in my application again. Why not. C-Ya all soon. Peace.

The resin monkey is right. Nonne of us want to run a bunch of bad parts and sometimes its inpossible to run good parts. Nobody rembers where tooling is suposed to go espcially the set up people we have now.what a joke that is. Lines get stared with inportant toling not even there and we have to figure it out at 50 ipm.

Engineering is just on first shift and we have 3 shifts and i think that is crazy. We all need some support. We have the donut eater on first shift wandring aroung acting more like a social planner than someone with responsabilies to hold the plant togther and now a cluless superviser on our shift. If we still had our good set up guy or our REAL superviser then we could be ok with a cluless superviser and no engineering but now we are in trouble.

I don't feel like a vip with resin all over my arms trying to run a set up that isnt good. I don't think we should have to shut stuff down to realine over and over just because our set up people and engineering can't get it right the frist time. Is this why i have to run 50 ipm to make up for the shut downs because it wasn't right to start? I am making up lost tme for there mistakes. And where's the man in charge of the plant when all of this happens? His outside on the phone with a cigarete in one hand, a phone on his sholder and a powder donut in the other hand planing his next sheme to get rid of a valuible worker so we fail for shure.

When is it gonna end???That's all I want to know. I don't want to leave but I cant take it anymore. This job should not have to be this hard because it never was before and i have been here for 8 years.

You forgot one thing about the Plant Manager he loves his powder donuts, and to go outside and talk on his cell phone. And then has the gull to say the line speeds are too slow well . . . come on down doughboy and bring your engineering buddy with you, and each run one of those state of the art lines for a couple of weeks. At your 50+ ipm and see just how fast things change on you for no reason. And how happy you will be at the end of the day. I bet then things will get fixed then . I get tired of hearing these people say, that we have some bugs to work out, but we will fix it before the next run. (I could go on and on about this) Which run will it get fixed, when we all are out of a job.

No that will be too late, I am tired of getting the finger pointed at us. Does the management at cta think that I wake up every morning and say I am going to run 500' of scrap today. Wake up and take a good look at your process, it is far from perfect. We tell you that we are having problems but to you, we are just a bunch of cry babies. Sometimes I think I work in Bedrock, not in Aurora and Fred and Barney are in charge that is how far we are behind in the times. Come and run one for yourself . I like my job and i like most people here but i don't feel like a vip because the weirdo don't like me either. all of the people that he don't like get treated like dirt and his social club have it made. This is true and everyone sees it.

I think the picnic and christmas partys were a wast of money. The only people that went were the weirdos social club because anybody else felt not welcome. We know that he spreads rumors about workers and makes fun of us because his social club tells us.

This place needs alot of help and getting rid of the weirdo is the biggest help.

First and foremost, the definition of rip off is as follows:

1. A product or service that is overpriced or of poor quality
2. A theft

Being a current employee of Composite Technologies of America, I am able to say (with confidence) that this company has NOT committed any type of act of thievery against its employees or sold an overpriced, poor quality product or service to its employees. With this being said, I feel compelled to share my view of of the goings on at Composite Technologies of America.

An employee of any company is being paid to do a job; employees do not work for free and companies do not pay employees to socialize. This is a glaringly blatant concept; however, it appears that employees of Composite Technologies of America operate under a crazy assumption that their job performance has no real bearing on the big picture.

In my dissection of these rebuttals and blogs, I find nothing more than a bunch of disgruntled employees who have no desire to truly solve problems. I ask you, how is slamming members of management on a Rip Off Report Website doing anything more than displaying a very high level of ignorance? Perhaps all of this is for a few laughs, but who REALLY appears the fool? Hiding behind a fake name and making potshots at people does nothing more than magnify a huge character flaw. If things are so terrible, you should leave. In remaining an employee of a company that you loathe, you are not only doing yourself a huge injustice but you are also holding all of us back. As they say, life is too short to do something you hate. Dragging your character through the mudd by resorting to slamming your employer on a Rip Off Report Website, is a high price to pay for a laugh. Sadly, it is also costing the rest of us because our goal is to be a successful company; needless to say, your negative attitude, as stated by Mrs. Beesely, is cancerous.

I am glad to see someone has some sense!! I agree there are issues both in management as well as among employees, but we can't fix them if all we do is complain.

There are those who are trying to make this company a better place and have put their trust in all of us. When Omega went bankrupt the new buyers put their trust in each and everyone to make this company a success. They gave everyone their job, even those who probably if looked at closer would not have been asked to come back.

Take a minute and ask these questions to yourself. Whether an operator, utility or even in the office

Do you set goals for yourself? Do you take pride in your work? Whether it be running a line on the floor or creating documents in the office. If a line breaks down to you challenge yourself to see how well you can fix it or do you call a Supervisor over to do it for you? If there is a mistake in the inventory, do you wait to be told about it or do you discover it yourself and inform others how to fix it?

I agree working is stressful and sometimes we are asked to do things that we don't want to do!! HELLO thats LIFE!!!

This is getting ridiculous

I am a current employee of Composite Technologies of America, Inc. and this entire "blog" is getting way out of control. First of all, I agree that there are issues with the company- some management and some employee related. Isn't this true of most all employers? Our problems are not so different.

The economy is very bad right now- jobs are difficult to find and manufacturing is at one of this country's all time lows. How many American's have lost their home to foreclosure? How do company's with a customer base almost 60% in the building industry remain competitive in today's economy?

There comes a time when everyone needs to take a very close look @ the reality of situations and make an honest attempt to understand WHY certain decisions are made in a company. Sometimes decisions are not the best at the time and maybe mistakes are made; however, I really do not believe that this company has any intention of making its employees feel "sub-human".

If you feel this way, you should quit. Negativity breeds negativity and all of this negativity is like a cancer growing out of control. We have no room for this cancer here; there's a lot of work to be done. Many people work very hard everyday; this negative attitude is hurting this company.

We ALL need our job and we need to be thankful that we even HAVE a job. I remember a time not too very long ago when each and everyone of us was sweating bullets and praying that somebody would buy bankrupt Omega. Omega was bought and EVERY SINGLE PERSON REMAINED EMPLOYED. The new buyers did not have to keep everyone, but they did. Every employee was given a chance and kept his job; doesn't this mean anything? Where's the gratitude? How can people be so blind? Everyone needs to work together as a team here and be greatful for what you have.

How is this website solving problems? Everyone on here is making unsubstantiated, incoherent statements, calling names, and showing a great display of ignorance ( and illiteracy...sorry, Jim, but you and P.a.s should be hog tied for your mutiliation of the English language). What is all of this proving? Furthermore, why are you "blogging" on a Rip Off Report website? How did Composite Technologies of America "rip you off"? Do you even know what being "ripped off" means??

Everyone really needs to take a step or two back and evaluate the idiocy of all of this foolishness.

Hello fellow mates. How's everyone doing today. This is some really interesting reading when you get bored at home. I just can't beleive some of the crap people are writing on here about our wonderful company. I have to agree with Mark, and not Jim. The place has gone downhill since they added Mr. Clean. When Resiliance bought this place I was not worried at all. The first couple of months were tough and slow, but that didn't bother me. It's when that brought in this weirdo as our new Plant Manager. What a joke. He really messed up when they got rid of one of the best Set-Up people we had. I have seen and I'm sure other people have noticed the set-ups take longer and are not lik they used to be. We have another good set-up person, but as you all know he went back to being an operator, now we are down to one. Oh well, that doesn't mean the place has to fall apart. I think he is a person who comes in and makes the place fail. That's how it has gone since he's been here, except when he gave us the great picnic for us and then he only stayed for like and hour. Thanks Mr. clean. maybe this year you can take us all to the wate park and we could all go down the slides. Yeeeeeeee Haaaaaaa. I can't wait to find another job Jim. I've been looking, but like one person said in another letter, where can you make this kind of money when all you have to do is show up, act like you know what's going on and it's all good. We are not treated like Vips. That person is crazy who wrote that. I really hope this place gets better for the sake of some of the good people left. But I'm looking for a new palce to work. This crap is getting old. One last thing. I would really like to no who where the people that chose the P3 operators. Please Please tell me. Because these people need examinations if ya know what I mean. Oh well enough of my crap. Lets her it from some other employees who feel like I do. Take Care and God Bless.

First of all I have to say that the stuff I'm reading on here is hilarious. Some of these people need to go back to school and learn how to spell. I'm not the greatest speller but come on. The person telling us that we are treated liked V.I.P's must be nutz. The only people like that are the people who hang with Mr. Clean, and ya all know who that is. The company picnic and christmas party was a joke. I remember back when we used to have fun at those events, and 80 to 90% of the people would show up, not 30 or 40%. It is kinda true about taking long breaks and hanging out like your at a family get together or something like that, but it all depends on who you are again.

The person that wrote the 1st article about the P. Manager and V.P of engineering was pretty funny also. Most of her comments were true to a certain degree. There's something else I'm confused about also. Why would they take a person that knows alot about the stuff we make here, has been out on the floor as an operator, set-up, supervisor, and many other things, but leave a person in there that doesn't have a clue about nothing. He should be a resin mixer or utility person.

I do agree with the person a great deal about Mr. Clean also. If he really cares about us he would treat us all equal, and like humans. I really worry that my job isn't going to be here in a couple years. I like what I do and like most of the people I work with. We need some changes in management and soon. Remember when everyone worked together and got the job done, it's not like that now, and we all know what the reason for that is. It's suppose to unit the people, ya right. The only thing it has done for us is tear this place apart. Does everyone like throwing money away, if so put it in a donation cup in the supervisor's office so we can save up for a real christmas party or picnic next year. Come on people, look at the big picture. One more thing, I know I should put my real name on this, but if I did I would be treated like a V.I.P. Ha, Ha, Ha, See ya tomorrow.

I work here right now and i dont know what these guys are saying. I have been here over 5 yrs and i have worked in alot of places but this place is the best. i make more money than all of my friends and i pretty mch just come to work.

nobody says anything about what you do and when you mess **** up thats ok to. everybody gets along good and working isnt relly important here. we take breaks when we want to.

we are treated like vips. we had a nice picnic and awesome party at christmas and our union is helpful for us. The union and the company work together and it makes everything good for us and they planned the partys together for us.

i hope i can retire from here. People need to stop lieing

i worked here for about 3 months in 2007 and I thought it was a GREAT place to work. Employees wandered around the plant at will, chatting and laughing with supervisors- it was not like work at all. If your line broke down, you got help from the other people.= or it just didn;t run. Breaks were as long as you wanted and it didn't matter if you made it to work or not. My best friend still works here and he said it is stil really laid back. I reapplied and i have a interview tuesday. wish me luck!!

I wish the management would really take a good look at us, not from there business point of view that every inch per minute equals a dollar loss or made. We are human too, it is not easy doing this job and to be treated like some kind of prisoner just adds to the stress they have put us under.
