This company builds custom gaming computers. As part of the advertising to get you to buy a computer, they offer up free software such as Microsoft Flight Simulator X Deluxe. This is the game I selected after configuring the parts I wanted in my $970 computer.

I'm satisfied with the computer. The only problem I had was the speakers that came with it were unshieled and picks up computer noises. Also, the drivers were not loaded and updated during the build and the extra hard drive I had installed was not formatted.

But the purpose of this complaint is that "free" game that was thrown in as a bonus for purchasing the comptuer. It came in a non-shrink wrapped case and the product id code was invalid. This renders the game useless because it is required to be activated. Now, I had gone out and purchased a joystick solely for this game that didn't work right out of the box.

I spent weeks emailing back and forth to cyberpower pc requesting an exchange. It was suggested I call Microsoft, which I did. After spending over an hour on the phone being transferred to multiple people, they kept saying it was an oem dvd licensed to cyberpower pc and they were responsible for support of this item. Then, Microsoft offers to transfer me to a tech support person that may be able to help, if I pay for it. The cost would be as much as buying a new game from a reputable company.

It's rediculous.... cyberpower pc obviously mismatched the dvd to the wrong case with the wrong product id code. But they refuse to exchange it and make the customer satisfied ... after I spent almost $1,000 for a computer system from them.

Due to this frustration and other reports read about this company, I would not recommend that anyone do business with this company. They have demonstrated to me that they don't care if the customer is satisfied.

Cyberpower Inc finally sent a replacement for the Microsoft Flight Simulator X Deluxe that didn't work when I purchased the computer. The replacement worked on the first try. Getting them to send another one was like pulling teeth though.. was brushed off by one of their support people for well over a month. They agreed to send a replacement the day after I filed a Better Business complaint, a ripoffreport.com complaint, and filling out negative feedback on the survey that came with my purchase.

If anyone from Cyberpower ever reads this.... do yourselves a favor... take care of customers promptly and your business will be much more successful and profitable.
