My wife acquired credit from a TJ Max outlet store, she bought a few items (approx. 100.00) while in the store they issued an account number and told her she would receive the card and the bill in the mail. We never received anything.  Approximately 5 months later we received a letter from a legal firm stating her account was past due and had accrued $71.00This bank should be shut down compleatly for illegal finance practices. in interest.

So let me get this straight you go to a store, you charge a credit card that you applied for with ~$100.00 and because you never received a statement you did not paid the purchase you made? You never thought something was wrong? Never cross your mind the idea of calling to see what was going on? Of course not! You only thought HEY I GOT $100 WORTH OF MERCHANDISE FOR FREE, IF WE KEEP QUITE MAYBE THEY WON'T NOTICE!

And now you the account is reported to your credit bureau report and the company is guilty? I don't think so!
