The Promise regarding a laptop computer repair - "This will take 3-5 days", then, on the paperwork, he wrote, "5-7 days". I e-mailed the company after 10 days and two visits to the store, both times being told, "It'll be a couple more days." The company called the store. The Reality - Despite their magic memory stick, they obviously don't know how to do what they promise. They are non-responsive and I'm supposed to understand the complexity of it all makes it OK for them to sit on their...

After sending another e-mail to Corporate, I received a call that the computer was ready. I picked it up, took it home and discovered that the information on the "back-up disk" had not been reloaded on the computer and that the "back-up disk" would not load on the computer.
Good-bye Geek Squad; Good-bye Best Buy.

I hope you backed it up before you took it. Just be grateful if it works when you get it back. And in my experience, they also refused to honor their warranty after removing a part of the operating system. Wouldn't even come back to look at it. Good luck. *just my opinions*
