Legal Zoom or www.legalzoom.com advertises that you can form a new "LLC" in about 15 minutes. They also name a fee that ends up being a little over $210. Be prepared to pay 3 times that amount!

Without explaining the steps, they took my information, processed my payment, confirmed payment and failed to notify me of any additional status. Over the next two days, I became impatient and called their customer care number to inquire about the status. I was told that the 15 minute promise was an [unreasonable expectation] and in reality it would take over 30 days to get through the process.

Although I had chosen the upgraded option to pay for "overnight documents", that was only after they acquired said documents, which was a very long and drawn out process.

After a bit of complaining on my part, LegalZoom then offered to expedite the process to 7-10 days for an additional $115. I conferred with my partner, decided we had no choice and called back to make another payment. At that time, they explained that for - yet another upcharge of $200 - we can get our LLC completed within 48 hours.

At this point and time, we've been charged about $525 and by the time we get what we paid for - will get the "15 minute service" in about 5 days... I'll keep you posted!
