I am filing this to reiterate and confirm the complaints already listed here regarding Premier Benefits.

I have been contacted by this company for the past week on several occasions (one being a Sunday Morning). They claim to have $200 in free shopping vouchers to send me as a reward for all my wonderful purchases?? I made last year......IF ....I would send them $3.95 for postage.

They did speak with Eastern Indian accents ( real or otherwise) both times and their supervisor whom I spoke with also did too, but was much more understandable.

I told them that it makes no sense to me to pay for something that I supposedly was getting as a reward. They continued to try and cajole me into giving them my information. They wanted my bank account number, my routing number for my bank, and when I asked If they took credit cards, they wanted the security code off the back of my debit card. I gave them nothing, but testing their veracity, asked if I could send them a money order, cashier's check or cash. All of which were not ok. Obviously $3.95 was not what they were looking for. Interestingly, they didn't want to take a credit card.

I called my bank to see if there is any protection that can be put in place to insure only $3.95 is charged, but there is no way to do that, as my banker said, they could transfer $3.95 or $395.00.

They have no web site, actually they said it was not ready.......right. The only place I did find them was at Rip Off Report.

When I asked for their address they said it was 1442 W. Lincoln, Orange, CA, well there is no 1442 West Lincoln, there is an 1442 East Lincoln, The zip code they gave me was also wrong, they gave me an Arizona zip code for a CA address. They gave me an 800 number which is always busy (probably the boiler room).

They also wanted me to record over the phone a verbal authorization for this $3.95 which I'm sure was going to be used over and over if it got that far.

They were very calm and patient with me, giving me some information when I asked for it (probably incorrect) and was there on the phone with me in a very customer service way,

HOWEVER these telemarketers ARE scam artists, do not be taken in by their demeanor or constant persuasion to give them the money. That is the biggest tip off.

I am now reporting them to the appropriate governmental authorities.
