First off let me tell you I did not buy this carport directly from T-N-T CARPORTS.
On 06/06/2002 I purchase a 20x36 carport from CEDER SHORES AUTO in MARION COUNTY FLORIDA. This used auto dealer is a seller of these carports.
The total cost was $4,848.20 and I had to put down payment of $484.20 up front. At this point of this contract I was very happy. Aprox. 1 to 2 weeks
later T-N-T CARPORTS called me at work for an install date . I told them I was waiting for my permit . When the permit was ready for pick up at the cost of $176.00 I called T-N-T CARPORTS and let them know I was ready to have the carport installed. I was so happy I was finely going to have a place to work on my car.
On or around the 18th of june 3 men came to my home and told my that they were here to install my carport.They started the work around 8.30 am and stopped around 3 pm. They returned the next day around 3 pm to complete
the job at around 11:30pm the job was done. The next morning I went out to look at the finished product . To my suprise how any one could do such a job.
I looked at my 3 DOGS and said you guys could do better than that. On the following monday I called for an inspection . the inspecter came out and i failed inspection.
I failed on 2 things
( 1 ) was I needed a paper saying the concrete slab that I had installed at a cost of $1,450.00 was the proper type for the wind codes we have in FLORIDA.
( 2 ) The roof was LEAKING VERY BADLY. I called T-N-T CARPORTS to let them know about theinspection all i got was a voice message I never received a call back. My next step was to take pictures .
I took aprox. 28 pics. and mailed them to T-N-T CARPORTS. and told then they had 2 months to correct this problem. 8 weeks later a man called me to let me know the he was hired by T-N-T CARPORTS to remove this carport.The carport was removed from my property .
NOW I AM OUT THE COST OF THE DOWN PMT. THE COST OF THE
PERMIT. AND THE COST OF THE CONCTETE SLAB.
the total I have spent for nothing was $2,110.20. T-N-T CARPORTS is a company that needs to fold up an close . Please if you are thinking of buying any products
from this company DON'T . Yes i do have the pictures I took of this carport i no longer have . All I have is a concrete slab that is useless to me .

You bought the Carport from a car dealer, what did you expect. We are contractors, we are a TNT dealer. We handle all the problems with any Carport or Shed we sell, we sell local. If you had bought this form us in Ocala, we would have fixed the problem right away, most of the time same day. We would have poured the slab, obtained permits, been there when TNT installed it all for same price you paid. Would you buy your car at the drug store. Wwe hear these stories all day long from all types of carport companies. Buy Local,buy from some one who does it for a living and has a license. The Auto Place you bought from is not a contractor, can't pull permits, can'r do anything for you, you learned a hard lesson.
