I was shopping for a new Toyota in June and heard a radio ad about Carson Toyota. My bestfriend and I, being average looking females, went together to check out the cars. I had an appointment with Tariq the salesman, he was busy so he had another salesman take us for a test drive. When we were in the car the Salesman points out how pretty we are and asks our nationality (which was a little uncomfortable). After returning, Tariq takes us inside the office but before going in side a third salesman pokes his head out of a door and says to all of us that once we buy the car "he'll take us out for drinks!" Lastly, after a lot of cessful unsucnegoiating and not being able to work out a deal Tariq finds it necessary to say, "Wow, two pretty girls. This should have been an easy sale!"
Tariq and his Supervisor Tamer were both very rude to us. The supervisor kept saying how it was 4pm and that they should just go home. It was demeaning and discriminatory for them to even point out our appearances. It makes me sick everytime I hear a commerical for them. It is by far the worst dealership I could ever imagine.

Toyota is a great company.
I'm sure that they would not condone any type of inappropriate behavior.
Employees can sometimes act inappropriately.
It's quite possible that the salesmen didn't realize just how uncomfortable you and your friend were. Now,it's time to let them know.
Anytime you have a complaint with any company you should mail a written complaint including all details, and an explanation of what you would like them to do to make it right.
Send a written complaint to the owner of the dealership and to Toyota's US headquarters.Send them certified with a return receipt requested.
You should not say that Carson Toyota did anything wrong until you have given them and Toyota USA a chance to respond.
It is OK to complain about the people who actually did act improperly.
I understand that you did notify the supervisor but that is not high enough.
Any time you're in a similar situation, where someone makes you uncomfortable, immediately trust your instinct and leave.
Or,ask for another salesperson or ask to see the highest ranking person there and tell them what the problem is.
I am 100% on your side, you should never have to put up with that kind of behavior. You should be treated with dignity and respect. Employees need to act professionally.
If you're not satisfied with the responses you receive, mail a complaint to Toyota World Headquarters in Japan.
Note:I am not associated with Toyota.
Let us know what happens.
Good Luck.
