My Insurance company authorized me a rental vehicle from Enterprise up to $30 a day, with me paying the taxes.   I initally signed the contract declining all added insurances and added cost, but the sales man talk me into Damage waiver for two days to see if I like the handling off the vehicle.   It made sense, since im going from a sports car to a SUV from enterprise.  The initial renting of the SUV was 6/3/16.   My car repairs were stalled I ended up keeping the car until 6/21/2016.   I called  enterprise and spoke to a  rep on 6/14/2016, and informed her that I was going out of town from 6/15/2016 to 6/20/2016 and told her  I didnt need the vehicle while I was gone because it was going to be parked.  She said no problem that they will charge only the taxes for the vehicle, I said ok.  On 6/21/2016 I returned the vehicle to the dealer that was repairing my vehicle because they had a agreement with my inurance company and enterprise to return the vehicle.   I ask the Geico represntative what i owe he said only my collateral for my vehicle.   The next day 6/22/2016 Enterprise called regarding their vehicle, I told the yopung lady I dropped it off yesterday, she said Ok.  I received a phone call on 6/24/2016 from eneterprise regarding a balance.   I said what balance, because $107.24 was a pending charge for enterprise.   She said she will take it up with her manager.   I never heard back from Enterprise.   On 6/28/2016 I checked my bank balances I seen a unauthorized transaction from Enterprise for $396.88 taken out 6/28/2016,  I was furious.   I called enterprise right at 8 am when they open, asking to speak to a manager.  The individual on the other end identified himself as a manager, I told him the story and he said he would call me back once the store slowed down.   Again this is at 8 am on the dot, they open at 8 am.  I called back two hours later about 10 am and the same manager answered saying he was still busy and hadnt reviewed my account.   I was more furious and tried to talk out my frustrations he said it was a charge and he felt it was authorized.   I said no it wasnt and how can they go from a $107 charge and add a additional $ 396?     Im still waiting on a explanation.  I called my bank and told them the charge was unauthorized and now Im here still waiting for a explanation for Enterprise.

I did mentions up to $30 dollars a day for the SUV, enterprise agree to give it to me for $30 a day.   There was no additional chargers because of the size of the vehicle.  The offer was given to me because all their smaller vehicles were rented out.   The original contract was for four days, so I took the salesman word and I converse with the store on two occasions to verify that the additional charges were removed.    Honesty I don't know what all the additional charges are, enterprise took it upon themselves to collect close to $400 dollars out of my checking without any oral or written explanation.   This is  day three of the dispute and the d**n store manager still hasn't return my call for explanation.   That transaction wasn't authorized.   When I turned to keys in at the dealership they said I didn't owe anything.  I had one pending charge from enterprise for $170 which I was happy with.  A week later they took upon themselves to do another unauthorized charge close to $400 with no explanation.   Great customer service.

Details...

You left off a few details...

First off you stated that your insurance paid UP TO $30/day + taxes.  So what was the rental cost of the SUV?

For example, if the SUV was actually $60/day you are paying $30/day + taxes. The taxes are the other unknown amount, Car Rentals will generally have more taxes and fees and this alone could be $5-$10/day.

You say you only wanted to "try out" the LDW.  So did you verify that the LDW was removed after the first couple of days?  Were you charged for the LDW after that?

Now, where are all of these details found?  They are found on the initial paperwork that would show what you will be charged, and your final bill/receipt which shows what you were charged.  So what do these say?  I mean you didn't just take posession of a 20K+ SUV without reviewing the contract?  You didn't just hand off your car to someone trusting that they would return the car without a receipt..did you?
