I decided to order a new computer from IBuyPower.com and so far the experience has been terrible. First off, they told me the order would be completed and shipped within 5 - 10 business days. After 15 business days, I decided to call and waited over 30 minutes to talk to someone. The sales rep stated that the motherboard I ordered was discontinued and I needed to choose another board. I asked the rep as to why he didn't bother to email or call me to let me know their was an issue. He stated that he thought the other motherboard would be in sooner than later so he didn't bother to call me.

I am still confused at this point because how would he know what board I wanted to replace the discontinued one with. He put me back on hold for another 15 minutes and he was then finally able to get me a motherboard that was comparable to the other one. He also gave me 2-day shipping for the inconvenience, of course the shipping wasn't free, just the upgrade to 2-day shipping was free.

The next issue I had was when I received the PC, the machine was built well but I noticed the LCD Temp Display was all scratch up. I called them the next day and waited for 45 minutes this time. When the tech support rep answered the phone, I told him that the wait time was really long and you guys should really work on that issue. He stated that "This wasn't his concern as he is just tech support" which really upset me and I let him have it at that point. Anyways, I told him about the scratched device and said they will send me a new one when I send that one back and I said no problem just send me a shipping label. He then stated that I had to pay for my own shipping which is ridiculous because I am not returning the item, I am exchanging it.

I then asked to speak with a manager and he put me on hold and then came and stated that the manager will send me the shipping label to my email address. It's now been 3 days and I have no shipping label and I have contacted them two more times since then so I guess I will just send it back and pay for it myself. This is where I am so far with this debacle, I hope it get's better but I seriously doubt it.

In summary, they offer a very unique service because you can get very custom with the PC but the customer service is so bad that I will never ever use them again.
