I bought a Toshiba Satilate Click in Feb of 2014, i have had nothing but issues with the computer. Suddenly they computer started to fall apart, screws dropping from the base of the computer. Called the Tech support and had to speak to a foreign person who did not understand English. I then waited until the next morning to call and after being on the phone for an hour still have a broken computer.
They're option was for me to pay money to have the computer shipped to them to have it repaired. When asking for a manager i got more attitude because the manager claims she is the only manager in the call center yet tells me to call back and ask for another.
The numbers listed on the website are ALL for tech support and the tech support is computer opperation that infact doesnt help with the issue.
I still have a computer that doesnt work and no refund and no replacement coming. This complaint will also be forwarded to the BBB of CA where the corperate office is infact located.

Heres the number for the president

I finally got my computer sent to them, but it came back with the screws still missing and two scratchs on the screen, i called them the same day i received my computer back on May 23.
I was told to take a picture of the scratchs, or send the computer back. I then found that my charger which was also sent to the depot was no longer charging my computer. After 2 days of fighting to get a replacement charger, no stores sell them by the way and toshiba expects you to let them place a 100.00 dollar hold on your cc, I started to play on the line for corporate.
Basically i hit random letters for last names and got one man who gave me the number to the presidents number. Now i am going to give it to you. (849)587-6872. I called left a message because suprise hes in Japan, I received a phone call ten minutes later saying the cord is being sent. I have since received the cord. But they have yet to address the scratchs on my screen.
I am going to file a report with the Attry General here but as the companies headquarters are actually in Japan and they use Indian workers I am not sure how far that can go. I do plan on updating my complaint with the BBB to include the scratchs and the way the customer service treats customers.
I hope the number helps you.

#1 Consumer Comment
my experience so far with Toshiba and suggestion

Toshiba charged me for a box and it was told to me it would contain everything I needed to return my computer. I asked if everything included the packing material and they said yes. It cost $24.95 and came with only one piece of styrofoam that didn't even cover the bottom of the box. The computer would be broken flopping around in the box if I returned it with what they sent. First they told me that they would send another box when it didn't arrive in 3 days I called and they said they won't send a replacement because it was a mistaken comment from the two different support people I spoke to and they don't send packing material. In which case they misrepresented the box and why did they put in the one piece of styrofoam? I only have until June 13, 2014 to get my computer to them for hard drive failure. Even though the warranty says it is for a year. I called my state attorney generals office and they are trying to get my money back for the box but they said I am stuck with the June 13 date.
My suggestion to you is to call your state attorney generals office and make a complaint. They may be able to help you and the more complaints they get the more likely it will become that they may eventually file a lawsuit against Toshiba.
Hope this helps.
