Tax software does not work. Something as simple as state withholding from the w-2 input screen is not feeding to the state return. How basic is that? Every return has that. The list goes on and on. Even if they all of a sudden had a perfectly functioing software, my confidence in this product is shot. The days of manual prepation are better than this.

Karen Bills never returns an e-mail. Phone just rings and rings.

Totally ridiculous return and cancellation policy. Finally, one of their employess returned an e-mail. I have been instructed to file for a refund in accordance with the cancellation policy. Well, the CD was prepaid last summer and delivered early December. The return period was well over by the time I even realized the software didn't work. Even if it weren't over, there is a $150 non refundable portion of the purchase price. I guess they foresaw issues or at a mimmum anticiapted that a bunch of us suckers would be wanting a refund and so they wrote in all kinds of protections for themselves.

I contend the return policy does not apply as the buyers were never delivered the promised product. But it doesn't matter. This company is toast after this tax season. They probably won't even get through the tax season. There won't be any funds to get a refund from. What a joke.

I have already purchased another software and am filing returns. For that, I am relieved. I am way behind, but TRX won't hold me up any longer or ever again

I believer it is time for a classaction lawsuit, like others have said, naming Doug Hughes and Karen Bills and any other company executives personally and individually.

TRX Software Ripoff

I have several angry clients due the TRX software.  Have used TRX for severeal years and never had the problems I am having with 2012.

Support staff is useless.  Usually says the next UPDATE will solve problem.

Have been waiting for 3 wks. for that update.
