Dear Staff:

I wish to write a new report on T-Mobile Wireless USA, this location in the Seattle, WA area. It seems the stores close in rapid succession, and could be closed shortly after going in for service.

My problem began when I ordered a phone from T-Moble through a special program for seniors (currently I am seventy-one years of age), in which I was given the phone free.  Once I got the phone, I could have it activated at any T-Mobile location with a monthly charge of no more than $30.00/month. It sounds simple but it did not go the way it was supposed to.

I got the phone and went to have it activated and the T-Mobile location refused ot acknowlege the program that gave me the phone, so I had to pay to have it turned on and make it operable.  Soon after, it was locked and I could not access any service from them, I was assisted by a young man from the Public Defender's Office who paid a fee of $125-30, which was what they charged for the phone itself.

When this was paid, the phone nad serive was to be terminated and I got signed up with serice with Mint Mobile. The phone was unlocked so I would be able to get new service. Within two days after the termination agreement, the phone was locked agains by T-Mobile citing I was no longer a customer of theirs, yet the phone still belonged to them!

Actually, this had been resolved but they had locked it again for a reason unclear to either of us.  My friend went back with the phone to test out the card, which functioned fine but he was told the three months had loapsed, which was all they were required to activate the phone for.

He then paid another $200.00 for six months and service with the new plan through Mint Mobile, however the phone was locked again by T-Mobile.  They seemed to claim since i was no longer a customer they locked me out because it was still their phone (remember, the phone had already been purchased for $125-30 previously!).

I am writing this report and  would also like ot be considered for any other class action suit againt T-Mobile, since they refuse to handle this severance with professionalism.  I do owe it to my friend to get his money back for his effort beyond the call of duty. The nightmare for both of us continues >>>
