I have had a really terrible experience with Aaron's Sales and Lease Ownership. My husband and I had looked at some furniture in store and chose a set of two white micro fiber couches. My first complaint would be the furniture coming two days late. That is after we had put our old couches in the trash. We spent two days without any furniture in our livingroom!



When the furniture arrived, there were burn holes in the loveseat and the wooden frame inside of the couch was broken. We made a complaint seeing as we were paying for brand new furniture. They asked us to come into the store and pick new furniture. We then chose a leather sectional which after interest would cost us $2900.00 and also a dell computer. The couch arrived looking unremarkable however after further inspection there were several slits in the leather. The slits had been covered up with some cheap rubbery substance the same color as the couch. The computer was brand new.



The next two months in a row we did not receive a bill in the mail. Aaron's started calling us five, six, seven times a day as of the day the bill was due. I talked to a customer rep and explained that we had not received a bill. He stated that it had nothing to do with his store (mind you this man could speak very very little english) that corporate had made a mistake and asked if we could please send the money anyway. I told him I would wait until we received our bill because I wanted to make sure it was going into the right hands. I am a little stubborn. Day after day they would call us over and over. They started calling my mother, mother in law and then my husbands employer!! Meanwhile still no bill.



To stop the harassment I sent in the bill grudgingly because we still hadn't received it. The next month the same thing happened. Six days after our bill was due someone showed up at my doorstep to either collect payment or seize the furniture! Six days! I told them to take their furniture and never never to contact us again. That I would not be paying my final six day bill and that I would be letting someone know about this.
