Abe's of Maine CLASSIC BAIT & SWITCH !!! Maine

Beware Online Shoppers! Abe's of Maine is an electronics store offering great prices for televisions, camera's and other home electronics, but be advised the the prices are FAKE PRICES! The actaul cost for the items you order are much higher! Once you place your order, you get a "confirmation call", where they inform you that the item you ordered, is very different from what is described on the website.

In my case, I ordered a Samsung 65" Curved QLED 4K Smart TV, Model QN65Q8C. When I got my confirmation call, I was told that the tv I ordered was a "commercial" model, that had less colors than the "residential" model, and it came with no warranty at all. Mind you that NONE of this information is displayed anywhere on there website, although any legitimate retailer would make sure it was displayed prominently! 

If I wanted the residential model, with a 1 year warranty, then I would have to pay $600 MORE! Once I recovered from the initial shock, I told him that there was no way I was going to pay an extra 6 bills, at which time he offered me a $100 discount and their "white glove" delivery service, still totalling an extra $500 over what I had agreed to pay.

He also kept going on about how this tv was worth $3000 ($1100 more than what I agreed to pay), and that I should be happy that he was giving me $500 of that price! I had to tell him to cancel my order at least 5 times before he reluctantly did so, rudely, and then hung up the phone without so much as a "have a nice day".

How on earth are these people even in business doing this kind of thing? They are rude, tricky, aggressive, and totally dishonest!
