ADT installed a security service in my elderly parents home about 2 years ago, at that time they promised a free remote to access system. That was never delivered. Finally my dad called and they came out and installed remote system, charged 119.00, he gave tech credit card for services.  It is written on invoice.

The remote was not programmed at time of installation, therefore it never worked. The charge was never billed to his visa account. He called and requested a tech come out and program the remote correctly, adt said they would send someone out. Never happened. He had attempted to pay and they never processed his visa, disgusted he said cancel my services, his contract had expired along with his patience. They have been calling him demanding payment for services not rendered, now a collection agency is calling him.

This company is so out of the loop as far as customer service, do not trust them to take care of your elderly parents, they cannot get the job done, yet want to be paid for services not rendered, seems to be fraud and elderly abuse. We are reporting to Consumer protection division of Attorney general state of Texas.

Beware of this company and their practices, they do not care.
