I have been doing business with these people for 3 years now. My face, my voice is used on their internet website as well as their on hold phone advertisement. That said, at one point I was happy with this company. I operate my own company under my own authority and used ATG's services to expand my fleet. I have read these reports in the past and have passed them off as isolated cases. I have done business with 8 different units and have spent over $100,000 in repairs. Again I have felt that many times these repairs may have been patched and passed on to me, but do to the ease of obtaining addition equipment I repaired them and passed it off as "the cost of doing business". In fact; do to my companies financial stablity I could afford many things the average purchaser from this company could not. Until I finally took advantage of their 50/50 warranty on a truck I had for just 4 months. The transmission had a catastrophic failure to the point the case core was no good and estimate was almost 12000.00. So I had the truck towed to ATG shop Gulfport, MS. An unreasonable amount of time 5 weeks later, repairs were made and I paid over $5500.00 for that repair. Got the truck back in 3 days spent another $2000.00 on water and thermostat replacement. Before I got that unit back to Ohio the transmission went out again, I contacted Ralph, GM at ATG and was informed that ATG would be sending their truck for warranty repair. One week went by Ralph called back and said it would be too expensive to send tow truck from Gulfport to Ohio and back that I was to find a local shop to drop transmission for inspection and repair estimate. That done the transmission was found to have been under filled with oil on installation and 1 gear was completely sheared off and 6 others were heat damaged. Upon receiving an estimate of $4000.00 to $4200.00 to rebuild and install I faxed estimate back to ATG. another week went by, and Ralph called back to inform me that it was ATG's intention to again send their tow truck after the truck but would be more than a week before that would happen. At this point, I told them to forget it I would have it repaired myself but was my intention to sue for damages, loss of use of equipment and negligence. The next day I was contacted again by ATG and was told the decision was made to repair at a authorized Volvo Dealer in Ohio. That I was to make arraingments to have it towed there. When I did that, they had another tow company pick up the tractor, hide it for more than two weeks, before ATG's tow unit picked it up. When the truck arrived at ATG more than two weeks later, I called Maria @ ATG and was then told my contract was being terminated, their position was they were keeping the truck because their shop claims driver error caused the transmission failure. The same shop that did not fill the gear case with oil to begin with.

This is a total opposite diagnoses that two reputable shops in Ohio saw. I would like to remind Louie Normand at
ATG that in 3 years of doing business I was never late on any payment, my bill for the initial repair was paid in full, and that my face is being used on your website, In no way was I in any kind of default on my contact, that I was lied too and not notified that it was ATG's intention to take and not repair this unit. That according to Ohio law where the truck was taken, a felony theft has taken place, the truck was reported stolen, along with  some $3000.00 of my company property that was in the truck.

I have filed a compaint with the Mississippi Attorney generals office and have offered at my own expense to fly down and work with the Mississippi AG to point out fraud comitted on ATG's customers, the State of Mississippi, and the US Department of Taxation.

I am also filing a lawsuit with a local Gulfport attorney for damages against myself, and my company. If anyone else needs help with this company contact me through this site for information on contacting Mississippi AG for help with a class action lawsuit. LOUIE,  I WAS ONCE YOUR POSTER BOY, NOW I AM YOUR WORST ENEMY!!! I AM ONE THAT STANDS ON PRINCIBLE, AND NO AMOUNT OF MONEY WILL DETOUR ME FROM FIGHTING YOU. I WILL NOT GO AWAY.
