Ameriquest Mortgage ripoff Orange Colorado

AS jUNE, 2005,I decided to refinance my house. I decided to go with Argent Mortgage.

Argent is the Wholesale Division of Ameeriquest Mortgage.

I went thru a broker firm by the name of Northstar Lending in Edmund, Oklahoma. The following day, they called me back to let me know they had a mortgage company for refinancing.

They had told me that it was Argent Mortgage Company. So, I said ok. Come to find out, Argent is part of Ameriquest. I was with Ameriquest, and tried to get away from them.

The plotthickens. They sent out an appraiser from Edmund, Oklahoma, that is 200 miles from Bartlesvile, Oklahoma. He appraised my house to be at $99,000.00.

When all of the hubbub came up in the news about ameriquest, I decided to refinance with another company. The company that I was going with sent out their appraiser who is local.

He appraised my house at $74,000. My mortgage is for $79,000. There is a $25,000. difference in the two appraisels.

This is part of the Predatory Lending Scam that Ameriquest does to unsuspecting Seniors like myself. I could not sell my house for $79,000.00. Ameriquest Mortgage knows this.

I fell behind in my payments due to a Scam Artist getting into my checking account, told this to Ameriquest Mortgage this, and, they told me that was my problem.

Ameriquest is threating to Forelose on me if I don't come up with $5,000.00 they are demanding. They are heartless, they do not care what the reason is why you fell behind.

I went to a Local Attorney who told me to contact Ameriquest.

I need help in finding an attorney that is not afraid to take on an outfit like Ameriquest. Can you help me? Please!
