Argosy University Online Lied about my financial aid, won't give me copies of any paperwork and now I am about to lose my home. Pheonix Arizona

I just recently started school online. I was very excited to actually get a degree in something I have always wanted to do. With that said, I told the school that I wanted to change my major before they ever did my FAFSA paperwork. It was not until I started school did I see that they never changed my major. That is because it would have lowered the amount of money given. Then when it came time for me to receive my part of the funding what I was promised and what I have received is a whole lot different. I am disabled and on social security I told them that when I applied. I told them if I am able to go to school on their accelerated program I was going to have to see if I qualified for any loans.

I did qualify. Yet the couple thousand that was supposed to come to me for help somehow turned in to less then that by oh a couple thousand. However, I am still legally responsible for it and they have it. I have been told multiple times that it is being sent to me and still have never received it. When I asked if I could have copies of my paperwork I was told we will see how to get it to you and still have never received it. Through all of this I have fallen behind in bills and rent and I am about to be evicted which is something I made very clear to them that without qualifing for a loan I would not be able to do because I could not afford it.

I have managed to keep a 4.0 and finished at the top of my last class. I feel lied to and tossed aside like trash because I can't seem to get anyone to be honest with me or call me back half the time. I am still in school because I have no idea what to do right now. I wish I would have researched this school because I have read way to many things on them now that I would have never signed up for them if I had known any of it. I take full blame on not educating myself on the school before signing up. I just wanted to put this out there in the hopes of preventing another single mother of 3 from making this same mistake.
