Two guys pulled up two a gas station in a blue 1990's blazer. They told me they were tryin to turn a dime at their company's expense because the company accidentally gave them 2 extra speakers to deliver. Showed me the magazine with pictures and prices. Showed me the waranty. Took me for $240.

Several years ago in Raleigh, NC, two guys in a van tried this on me. They were hanging around in a parking lot conveniently near a bank ATM.

Since I don't believe much anyone says, I called the Raleigh police after telling the boys I didn't need speakers since I lived in an apt with strict noise rules.

They stuck around looking for a sucker until 2 cruisers blocked them in for a full felony stop since, of course, they were saying they had stolen goods to sell.

Hope the buttholes had warrants so their day would be totally ruined.
