I have a warranty on my Iphone from Best Buy,  I have had previous phones with a Best Buy warranty and had great service, so when my phone started acting up, I thought, this won't be so bad, I was wrong, VERY wrong.

First Best Buy offered me the one loaner for Sprint that they had, a very old, flip sort of phone with no browser, etc,,,I said I would take my chances with my old phone until the replacement got it.

I was notified the replacement was in, went in to quickly pick up my new phone.  I was told that they could back up everything, no problem,,,later they said, well, we can back up the contacts and pictures, but nothing else,,,after waiting an hour and a half for them to get the new phone going, I ask them to get my old phone working and I would come back the next day when I had time,,they said they couldn't, when I talked to a manager he said yes they would.

The next day I went in, and my afternoon long ordeal began.  After about 45 minutes they said there was a problem and the replacement phone said it wouldn't work with sprint,,,after a couple of hours, they decide it just won't work,,I ask to get my old phone back.  I was in the store for over 2 1/2 hours,,,they told me my "old" phone would be reactivated within about 30 minutes,,,,its been an hour and its still not working,,,so now I have no phone, no replacement phone, I'm "phoneles' because of best buy.

The people at hte Geek Squad were nice, but it became very apparent they had no idea what they are doing,,I ran a division of an internet company, and while I'm not a techinical person, I can tell someone that knows nothing pretty fast,,the guys I worked with at the Geek Squad were nice, but had absolutely no idea what they were doing.

I called the Best Buy corporate office and they weren't much help,,,I guess a company with the financial problems of Best Buy, just doesn't really care about doing the right thing,,,they just want me and my warranty I pay for every month to disappear.
