Big Block Kennels My Puppy tested positive for Parvo & died 4 days later Richmond Texas

We purchased a 10-wk old puppy on May 2, 2009. Like most people with puppies, they had several crates of puppies in the back of a truck. They were using bird cages for the puppies instead of dog/cat crates. We chose a puppy (actually he chose us) that was a mixed breed (chow,shepherd & husky) with the cutest face you have ever seen. We brought him him and of course I went and purchase, a puppy crate, puppy toys, and gave him an old sock to chew on.

He had diareha but I attributed that to the changes that had just taken place in his life, due to residence re-location, treatment, food regimine etc. The next day he started vomiting. By the time I got home from work (my husband is retired and was home all day) the puppy was vomiting blood clots and had blood in his stools. We rushed him to the emergency vet clinic. They tested him for the Parvo virus and was positive. They kept him overnight and started him on antibiotics and fluids. By 4Am that morning he needed a blood transfusion.

We picked him up that morning at 7:00 A.M. and took him to our regular vet where he stayed until he died this morning (5/8/09). They also had him on IV fluids, food and medication for the virus.

I have already emailed the Humane Society of this situation. I plan on going forward in whatever way necessary to become this kennls' worst nightmare.

I plan on pursuing this endeavour not only for my puppy but for the potentional buyers of puppies that could not be saved or have been lied to by these people.
