I hear Jeremiah has been promoted to a Regional manager. What a bad idea. His Mommy Pam Gray will just keep promoting him if someone does not wake up. Jeremiah Gray is unresponsive, hides from resident and families that are upset, never comes to work on time, leaves early. He has no management skills and thinks Bonaventure is a sand box. Seriously, him and his mom Pam Gray along with Jeremiahs girlfried (a community med aid), Jeremiahs brother and 5 other family members (yes Pam has hired them all) work for Bonaventure in Salem. Its a big play time. They are terrible representatives of the company and all employes view it as a joke that the owner allows this.

No place to put your family, Jeremiah Gray and Pam Gray do not care about anythimg but what they are going to have for lunch. They walk around, pretending to care, making a big show and are only there for the big fat paychecks they are getting "selling the value" on why we all should be happy with minimum wage and no breaks. Dont go against pathetic Jeremiah or you will be let go. No one questions Pams sons and family, we all know this. I quit and work for another company that has great leadership and good ethics and lead by example. If you work at Bonaventure or have family there its time to look elsewhere. When they say it is owner family run they mean it - all the family wether they are qualified or not. No talent just blood ties and bad genes.

If you really are Kelly Hamilton(which I HIGHLY doubt) then why does it offend you if we post anonymously? Are you not doing the same thing by sitting back and disregarding staff/resident concerns or complaints? To my knowledge it's not very likely for you make an appearance at one of your facilities or even address issues personally(by phone, email, etc.). You have your staff at home office do it for you.

Furthermore, I wouldn't be bragging about your supposed 96% resident satisfaction rating. I used to work at West Hills in Corvallis, OR and I can personally attest to the fact that most of those surveys were falsified. When it came time to pass the surveys out our office manager gave us a deadline to have them back at the desk. She stated she didn't need them all back, only a percentage of which I'd see her pick the "good" ones from. Often times the residents weren't able to see or write on their own so we had to help them and were given full permission from management to embellish or even persuade their answers. We were even handed a stack and told to write the residents' names in off of a list and fill them in ourselves, provided we chose positive answers of course. Sometimes staff would write their own names in the space where it asked, "Is there a particular staff member you want recognized?" One year, our office manager had five of those in the pile to be sent back. And I had to laugh at that because none of the residents liked her let alone five of them.

I could go on and on but that will have to wait as it is very lengthy and detailed. So I hope you stick around to see it, Kelly!

This is in response to Complaint Report #948191, which was submitted against Bonaventure in general and Jeremiah Gray. This Complaint is so vile and venomous, so directed at hurting Jeremiah Gray and his reputation, that it is imperative that I directly respond to it.

While the internet is a wonderful addition to the modern world, it is very unfortunate it has given an outlet to petty people who want to hurt people and ruin careers, while hiding behind anonymous submissions. Why are such submissions anonymous? So the posting parties have no repercussions for their lies, no matter how great the harm they have created.  

The internet has given any disgruntled person who may have been disciplined, fired or who simply does not care for another team member in the work place, a podium to vent lies. If there were even a shred of truth or merit behind anonymous postings, they would not be anonymous. People would be bringing complaints to be investigated to Bonaventure or a state agency, such as BOLI. 

We, at Bonaventure, acknowledge and understand that there will be employees and residents who have complaints.  As a result, we have personnel at the Bonaventure Home Office to take such calls, to ask questions, get copies of any relevant documents from the complainant, and to then initiate an investigation.  An investigation will be done, and the complainant will be contacted after the investigation is completed with the results of the investigation.  Each community also has a grievance procedure in place for employees, residents and the residents families.  

The way in which to register a grievance with us is to contact us directly, whether it be at the Home Office or in the community,  and address the issue at hand in an adult, polite and constructive manner.  

To assert that Jeremiah Grays promotions were due to anything but his excellent on-the-job performance is simply not accurate.  Jeremiah Gray has earned all of his promotions.  For those of you who do not know, including Anonymous, Jeremiah began working at Bonaventure as a receptionist, before he went to college.  While in college, Jeremiah worked as an office manager for a community, was promoted to a resident care coordinator, and participated in the administrator in training program.  After graduating from college, he became a traveling marketer and one of the Companys best marketers ever.  After proving himself in that position, he became an Executive Director of a community and was then promoted to the position of Regional Director of Operations. 

Despite what Anonymous says, Jeremiah reports directly to me, and I am the one who has made the Jeremiahs Promotion Decisions. To repeat, Jeremiah has earned his promotions.  Anonymous cannot take that away from him. Furthermore, I have only observed legitimate compassion for the seniors we serve from Jeremiah. He is an outstanding young man and an asset to the Bonaventure Team.

As CEO, I am very proud of Bonaventure of Salem and Bonaventure Senior Living.  We enjoy a very high level of resident satisfaction, and Jeremiah Gray has contributed greatly to it.  Likewise, Pam Gray, our COO, has been instrumental in Bonaventures success.  She has lead Bonaventure Senior Living to an amazing 96% Resident Recommendation Rate. 

As indicated above, we at Bonaventure are proud of our accomplishments and those who have worked so hard to achieve them.
