I have contacted the company twice (5-21-14 and 5-29-14) with no reply from them. My next step was reporting to the BBB. Here is what I said in my complaints:
"On 4-13-14, my son took his car in for a tire rotation. The techs convinced him that he needed an alignment. He waited 3 hours, but the actual time on the lift was brief. He left and didn't notice a difference. He was never given a print-out of the before/after specs, either.
While driving, the suspension came loose and was dragging on the road. Fortunately, another driver saw the sparks and alerted him. When we took it to a nearby repair shop, the ASE mechanic identified this as caused by a poor alignment procedure where the cam bolt was not tightened, and subsequently fell out. The alignment did not appear to be completely performed, either.
This error leads back to your service techs. Thankfully, no one was injured, but the potential was certainly there. There were enough sparks to cause an explosion!
I am extremely upset at this lack of professional service by your company. My son felt manipulated due to his age and it's apparent that we didn't receive a proper 4-wheel alignment as was promised.
He paid $137.00 for this service, and I want it refunded without incident. I await your timely reply."
The BBB follwed up on this and the company refused to offer any compensation or accept any responsibility.
I told them that I would make this incident public knowledge, so here we go....

The first question I want to ask is HOW LONG AFTER the alignment did this happen? Was it an IMMEDIATE issue such as it happened RIGHT AFTER leaving the shop? Or was this a case of a few days week months later that this issue popped up? See if it WAS even a few days AFTER, YOU still have to be able to prove it WAS their fault. Having another mechanic WHO HAS A VESTED INTEREST in the situation SAY it was THEIR fault, doesn't actually make it their fault. The mechanic that YOU took it to COULD have told you anything you wanted to hear. That mechanic will also have to write out a statement and be able to provide his certification just in case there is a lawsuit. And I DONT mean the small claims case YOU are trying to build. YOU have defamed them online and have admitted to a pattern of harassment. This means THEY have a case against YOU for WHAT you have posted online. YOU may have the freedom of speech, but that freedom comes with a HEAVY cost. So you need to protect yourself and PROVE that EVERYTHING you have posted, both here and on FB are 100% accurate and true. If there is even ONE SENTENCE that is hyperbole, supposition, fabrication OR just YOUR OPINION presented as fact, then you ARE at risk. While the web is an excellent tool, it has been used and abused for everything from outright fraud to outright lies. These corporations are no longer taking the "hits" online. YOU can be tracked and EVERYTHING you do online IS LOGGED!!! YOU are no more anonymous online then I am Mighty Mouse. I only warn you of this so if it does happen, you can protect yourself. Im NOT saying you don't have a right to complain, I AM saying to make sure you protect yourself while doing so. Im pretty sure that if you received no help from the BBB, seriously they ARE a joke, then you probably wont be getting ANY refund. If there has been ANY substantial amount of time between them "fixing" the vehicle and the event happening then you can be sure they will not admit to anything. I wish you luck in your fight, but I really don't see it going anywhere. THEY will assume that you will eventually give up as more important issues you wish to complain about pop up.
