We bought a vehicle in June 2004. My husband and I thought we where making bigger payments to pay it off ealier. WRONG!!! Brown and Brown Chevrolet on Main Street in mesa, Arizona had sent a totally different contract to my lien holder with a different interest rate and purchase amount. What the dealership did was forge our signatures on the different contract and send it to the lien holder.
When I found out what happened I went to Bill Touchy at B&B and they denied it. The when I showed them the good contract -vs- the forged contract they said what are you going to do about it. I went to my lien holder who looked at the contracts and is now no longer doing business with B&B. I am now seeking legal advice. What they have done is a felony class 4. From what I have found out from previous employees is this dealership has a history of doing this. There are articles in the local newspaper stating this also. I would never recommend this dealership or any dealership owned by auto nation either. For your own piece of mind stay away from them.
