Budget Van Lines Total inconvenience, unprofessional scam, disrespectful untimely customer service New York Company, California Individual New York

I had a company paid move and coordinated this to coincide with my driving across the country. The movers arrived two days late in Colorado and were slipshod in their moving practice. Quick Easy Movers was the subcontractor-I WAS NEVER INFORMED Budget Van Lines is merely a broker-no where on the contract nor in conversations was that discussed.

Then the saga of moving the stuff across the country-they changed trucks, lost two items, found the two items and the movers actually had the unmitigated gaul to call to remind me 'Have the tip ready' What the heck? I have never dealt with such unprofessional folks since conducting personal business as an adult. The worst part-they called 8 hours before supposed drop off, (this was delayed a day as well) to inform me that I needed additional money as the truck was 'over the weight limit' when it left Colorado a week earlier...do you think they knew this? This had to be a certified check-and cost me money to generate.

I also called the dispatcher from Budget Van Lines and Melissa in the New York office never returned my calls. This company is horrendous. Pleasant as pie until they get your money-then...'so sorry, can't help you. That's out of our hands' Don't use Budget Van Lines-on any condition. I have notified my employer and they will take this forward.
I do want to say that James of the California office and Tim Collins were both great-they tried to help. The dispatcher Melissa, and whomever chooses their carriers ought to be fired. Immediately. Under no circumstances ought you ever use Quick and Easy Movers based out of Valdosta GA. They were horrific.
