I have actually owned 3 Kia vehicles: a 2011 Kia Sportage sx which I loved; a 2012 Kia Soul+; and now a 2013 Kia Forte sx. I loved the sportage as it was truly loaded and sticker of approximately $33000. I suffered a stroke on 08/29/2011 and could no longer afford the$750+ monthly payment so I had to sell the vehicle. hardly any miles on it , yet they would only buy back for $24000 plus I had to pay an additional $3800 to pay the vehicle off. in june, 2012 I was able to start driving again and purchased a 2012 Kia Soul+. the vehicle was okay, but the finance person, an A. Barrera still put me at a higher payment than what I wanted: $392.xx. I went back to the dealer in february 2013 to trade in. got a 2013 Kia Forte SX with leather, power moon roof after market in dash navigation and premium wheels. the same finance person wrote it up at $31000 and got financing approval at $452.xx per month even though I told him I could not afford that much. I tried to return the vehicle within 3 days, but he told me they would not take it back because they did not physically have paperwork signed at my physical address, he told me to refinance in 6 months. at 6 months I contacted the finance company and was told they did not do refis.

in June, 2014 I contacted the dealer about trading for another Soul, but was told I had too much negative equity. plus I am only getting 16-18 mpg whic is totally unacceptable. ever once did the finance person offer me one of the advertised lease options for their $189/month vehicles. I am stuck with very negative feelings about this dealership and still feel like th finance guy ripped me off on finsncing or maybe received a kickback for upcharging on vehicles. I honestly will most likely never buy from that dealer again.

AUTHOR: Auto dealer fraud Investigator - ()

POSTED: Thursday, June 26, 2014

If you're thinking of buying a new used car you need to understand a lot more than you do. The conventional media will never tell you about the scams in the automotive industry. Many TV Stations get most of their advertising money from auto dealerships. They are not going to bite the hand that feed them that's why the average consumer is not informed enough to do battle with a professionally trained salesman At any auto dealerships.

I personally am a auto dealer fraud investigator. I help law firms with their cases regarding Used auto dealerships. Right now I personally am working on a case where a Toyota dealership a independently owned and operated Toyota dealership created fake pay stubs and submitted them behind the customers back to the lender for loan approval.

Auto dealers across the country are having hard times of getting customers financed especially the ones with poor credit. Many fraudulent finance managers are taking it upon themselves to send fraudulent documents with Fraudulent signatures to lenders to get customers approved.

Some dealers are even going to the extent of doing what's called CSI Diversion. This helps them hold their CSI scores even higher. You the customer might not feel no big deal you did not get to fill out your little survey Telling the automaker how you feel about the dealership. You think no big deal.

What if the Automotive manufacture is trying to contact you to let you know about some defective components on your new car ? How are they going to do that if the dealership submitted bake contact information about you to the automaker so the automaker can't contact you to send you the little cheesy survey ? In short no safety recall notices for you my friend........
