CashNet, CashNet USA, Natalia, Jimmy Watson These people are a scam. A man and woman who both had very thick Indian accents tried to tell me their names were natalia and Jimmy Watson. Yea Right!!!!! Harrassing, unprofessional, wouldn't provide information I requested. Hung up on me after I called them out twice. SCAM!!! Chicago "Internet"

Oh my goodness! Where do I start? I am sitting at work right now, but I HAD to come online and file all the appropriate complaints. These people started calling me yesterday. The first call was at 7:30 am! A lady (with a thick Indian accent) named "Natalia" (yea right) called and left a message. My friend (whom I had listed in an online application as a reference) called me at 8:30 am to tell me the woman "Natalia" had called her and said I had been involved in criminal activity and that she needs to have me call them.

Then when I am at work I get a voicemail on my company phone from "Natalia" saying that I am facing charges for criminal activity, my IP address has been recorded, blah blah blah...and my friend will be charged as well (that's when they lost credibility in my eyes) and that she "wishes me luck" in handling this dispute. Needless to say I soon became very irate. However, I called her back at the number she provided (214) 254-3619. Natalia, in her thick eastern accent, began to provide me with a case number, and gave me a payback figure of $723.00.

Of course I disputed that, telling her if I had hundreds of dollars cash on hand that I never paid back I would know about it. Now I've read some other complaints on this company. Now I consider myself LUCKY because at the time I had applied for an online loan the funds never made it into my account. At the time I was very upset because it caused me inconvenience. The reason the funds never made it is because at the end of my account number, there is a code my bank requires third parties to include at the end of my account number in order to deposit or withdraw funds from my account.

I didn't know that. Therefore, the funds were never deposited and thankfully unable to be withdrawn as well. According to the folks over at Cashnet, I accepted a loan and never paid it back. I told them that I never received a loan in the first place so there is no way I am going to pay anything back. The lady asked if I would be able to prove that in a court of law and I told her hell yeah I could because there's no way in hell she could prove money was ever put into my account. We exchanged words. She hung up. I called her back stating that it was ironic she hung up on my when she was the one trying to hunt me down calling my associates AND employer! She said she'd look into the situation and call me later. She never did.

The next day (today) I decided to call back. This time I get a man with a thick Indian accent. If you want to know how I know it was Indian...let's just say I have plenty of friends and associates who are Indian so I am very comfortable making this assertion. I tell him about the conversation with Natalia and how rude and unprofessional she was. This guy started out much better than her...but would soon follow the same path. I begin questioning him. He tells me they work for a legal department and is the manager. Natalia is out in the field today.

He provides me with my bank account info (the incomplete number I mentioned earlier) and says funds were deposited in my account. he would not provide me with any dates of deposit. He said I should know what the date it. i told him there is no way for me to track any date because no monies were ever deposited! He tells me he cant give me the info. Circular reasoning...and a bunch of BS later...I ask for his name. He tells me his name is Jimmy Watson. I'm sorry...but I just couldn't help myself. I told him that it seems like they had a bunch of bogus names over there.

He asked me what I was trying to say and I told him that he has a very distinct Indian accent and that I highly doubt that their names are Natalia and Jimmy Watson. LOL. This upset him. He told me he was getting off the phone now and will be forwarding my case on to the legal department for further action (I dare him). It's not like I was making fun of his accent....NO I am half asian for crying out loud.

I was letting this scammer know that he is obviously not who he claims he is. Needless to say I had to go online and investigate if my suspicions were true about this company. Eureka! Gold mine. Look at all these complaints. I am disgusted. I am planning on making formal complaints now to the BBB in CA and whomever else needs to know. If there is anyone out there involved in any legal battles or unfair collecting procedures with this company and needs someone to testify or give a statement...please contact me.
