Chase Receivables Fraudulent Collection Agency Concord California

I received a letter from a company calling itself Chase Receivables stating that I was past due for $54 for some medical records I ordered 8 months ago from UCLA Medical Center. They claimed to be representing a medical transfer service called Healthport, based in Alphretta, GA. When I ordered the records from UCLA, there was no mention of Healthport or a payment, and I never received a bill. When I called Chase Receivables, their rep refused to give me the number for Healthport or UCLA "due to contractual obligations." The woman insisted I to "resolve this matter immediately," and demanded my credit card number. Instead, I found the number for UCLA's medical records department and called them. UCLA said they do not work with Healthport, and my balance with them is zero. They stated outright that Chase Receivables is a scam. Don't fall for this.
