CHASE VISA INTEREST RATE OFFER RIP OFF Louisville Kentucky

They offered a balance transfer for 12 mos at 0% and in the small print it said they had the option to decide how long the 0% would last. They issue the credit card and did the balance transfer, but on my 4th statement, I notice there is a finance fee at 23.24% on average daily balance. They never informed me that they were only extending the offer for 3 months and when I contacted them about this, they asked for the offer I signed up for to be faxed to them and then basically said, "too bad" you owe us and we will continue to charge 23.24% on your average daily balance until it is paid off.

Had I known they were only going to give me 0% for 3 months, I would not have made the balance transfer and gone with another company. To me, this is fraudulent, because even though the small print says they have the option to decide on the length of the offer - they NEVER have to inform you of this before they make the balance transfer???? That is totally unacceptable.

Then, when I pay off the balance, because it is after 2pmEST on the day the amount is due, they charged me a $14.95 service fee. So when I pay the balance and the service fee - in full - and cancel the credit card, I get another statement saying I owe $4.90 on an average daily balance.

This is by far the sleaziest company I have EVER done business with and I will never use another product by this company and I highly recommend no one else does either or you WILL be ripped off!
