Cingular Wireless sent phone unwanted, I called to cancel and return, they have been sending me bills and will not close this account, in which I did not authorize. Largo Maryland

I received this box in the mail one day. It was a NOKIA cell phone and accessories with a bill and plan statement from Cingular wireless. There was an account number for me, along with a mobile phone number assigned to me. I called the company and asked for this to be cancelled and that I wish to return this product and have this account closed at once.

They said they would send me a return slip and that all I have to do is write "cancel, RNIP" on the slip, along with the item shipped. I have waited for over 2 months for this information, and have placed several calls and been put on hold, and turned over to one sales person after another. I need this taken care of .

This has caused me to go to collections! I am 18 years old and have no credit, and now this situation has informed me through their billing statements, that I am in collections. This is not how I want to start my life off in the credit world. Please help me take care of this.
