Do not buy anything from these people. They have ripped me off. I bought a Chrystler Seibring 2004 convertible from them about a year and a half ago and guess what happened. I made payments to them for over a year and payments were very high. I paid them a little over 7,000.00 Dollars over that period of time. They harrased my references I had written down, they harrassed my family and they have threatened me too for being late one day.
In addition to this, I have lost my job recently and so, i called them to reposses their vehicle which they did and after repossesing it; they sent me a letter stating that the car was going to get sold out at an aution, and if they sold it for more then 10,000.00 Dollars they were going to send me the remaining since this was my property. Yet, I received a letter two months later stating that they sold the car at an aution for 400.00 and that I owed them 9, 400.00 isnt this a rip off?
Then I called them asking to solve this issue and they said: " you owe us 9,400.00 Dollars and the car was not in driving condition" I stated sir, when the car was taken away and or repossed from me the car was in the same way i purchased it, it had no issues i dont know why u are saying that the car was not in driving conditions. The person said: " you must pay us 9,400.00 thats all I can tell you.
In conclusion, I got the car loan, the price was 9, 990.00 they, CNAC JD BY RIDER financed. I had oweful credit, yet they approved the loan, and repossed my car, and they the money i had given them they said it was interest paid. I assume they lied to me saying they sold the car for 400.00 and lying onto saying the car was not driveable. The car was driveable and in perfect conditions. So, all in all, I wanted a car not a huge mess and a huge problem in my life.
Now, according to them, I owe them 9, 400.00 Dollars, and i dont have a car, and they sold it at an aution for 400.00 whereas I could had bought it back from them cuz i needed the car. Help me please what do i do? is there a case here? where do i start i originally purchased the car in wisconsin but moved to florida looking for a job offer. Help me these people are killing me.

dude.....call the Illinois Independent Auto Dealers Association and get thier feedback. This doesn't sound right. I'm having a hard time following you, but as a former car dealer owner, there's no way the car sold for $400 at the auction unless it was a pile of junk. A 2004 Sebring Convertible should sell for around $6k at the auctions. Call the IIADA and see what they would recommend.....good luck.

Scammers

You guys are rude and do threaten and are scammers. You prey on people with bad credit. I use to have a car with you guys.
And I paid my car on time, as a matter of fact I was always ahead on my car payments 3 months.
And I was in the Marines, and the last year of my contract ending, I too was looking for work. Before my car was due (2 months ahead) at this time, I called to let you guys know my situation and if I could get deferred for 3 months and I would get the money to pay. You told me no, that it did not matter that I was head on my payments when it came due I had to pay. The motor went out on me, something that you guys did when I brought it to be serviced. (I know because of electronics ).
So I was late for 2 months, you harrased my friends, family and job. So on the 3d month I got the payment and paid half of the balance of the car. (4200.00) And I went to a toyota dealer, and they called you guys for a payoff, and you guys refused to give them the balance. Instead you told them that I was delinquent on the car and I had to call. Untill I called then all of a sudden it showed that I was head on my payments.
I traded my car in, it took you guys a loooooong time to give me my refund. I got it from the dealer that paid you guys off. A week when I got a new car, no issues. Your finance department had the nerve to call me and ask me that I was approved for a higher amount loan, and to please come in a look for a car. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!
Needless, to say I could tell you where to go with your approval.
Birthdays I get a car from you guys who you miss my business.
PLEASE!!! Just miss not being able to take advantage of this sucker.
People do get back on their feet and can do better, Like I did.
Whta people need to understand, when they get "approved" because everyone does, they need to pa you guys and at the same time work on their credit and apply elsewhere, and get out from the angled web. Because the cars are a patch job, and fall apart early in the game.
YOU DEFINITELY DONT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!
To the person that lost your car and they said they sold i for 400.00. They did not they sold it for more.
Unfortunately you have to keep paying off that debt. And do your research and you would be able to find out how much the car was sold for. All you need is the vin number, and do a little of research.
That will help you out.
Good luck!!!

Another "REPOSS" Person!

Oh poor, poor baby. You were on the receiving end of these terrible people and for absolutely no reason, they decided to pick on poor little ole you!
The ONLY reason they called any of your references or family is completely and exclusively because YOU chose to be late on your payments. If YOU were making your payments AS YOU AGREED to, then they would never have bothered you.
The ONLY ripoff here is YOU. YOU signed a contract where you AGREED TO PAY the contracted amount of principle and interest. When YOU DECIDED to have a repossesion on your credit record, the car was sold at auction which DOES NOT relieve you of paying the principle and interest. You thought all that was simple going to vanish into the clear blue sky, didn't you?
You had to do business with these people because YOU gave yourself a documented, verified and proven track record of NOT paying your bills on time! Nobody did that to you...YOU did it all to yourself. Now what happens with this account? They take a chance on you and finance the deal. What do you do? You continue to NOT pay your bills on time, continuing to slog your way thru the subprime cesspool all fully preventable if only you would choose to be responsible with your finances. Enjoy walking, the bicycle and riding on the bus!
