Over the past few months I have received multiple phone calls and letters from Convergent debt collection service attempting to collect a debt from 1996. I advised them th under no circumstance was I going to pay a penny on a debt from 16 years ago and for them to stop harrassing me.

I am not exactly sure about all of our laws work in this regards but believe this would be well past the statue of limitations. i have place a call into my attorney generals office requesting assistance
