We recieved a call from NSS Magazines. The automated machine said you will recieve three free sample magazines for a one month free trial.
A month later a person called from NSS Magazines asking if our checking card was the way we paid our AOL bill. My wife said yes.
They then proceeded to tell her they would give her 3 magazines for $30 for a years subscription.
My wife said no. They would not take no for an answer. I got on the phone and told them no and hung up.
A month later we got our checking statement and they had charged our account for $101 to pay for the magazines. We never gave them any account information or told them yes for anything.
They got our checking card information from our AOL account.

I have been trying to encourage people to report these crooks to the FTC. They have a web-site, so you can do everything online. You may be able to get your money back by calling them, but this will not stop them from continuing these illegal acts. I am wondering why nobody has been put in jail yet. I feel that as a responsible citizen I had to report these criminals. The more people that do so, the better chance of getting them.
