I had received a credit one credit card about three months ago and when trying to make my first two payments online, the site was down. When I called in to make the payment, I was forced to pay a $10 fee.

Today was month number 3, when trying to make the payment, the site was down again and I was being forced to pay the $10 fee. This time around, I refused to pay the fee and was directed to a different number for customer service. After being on hold for 15 minutes, I gave up and called the payment center back.

While having intentions on just paying the fee, I first asked what the balance was and was surprised to hear that my balance was $90 more than expected and that my credit limit was also $100 more than it previously was.

When I asked why my bill was so high, not receiving a bill in the mail or being able to sign on line, I was told once again that I had to call customer service. Being more patient this time, I waited on hold for about 20 minutes before someone finally answered but couldn't hear me and disconnected the call.

When I called the payment center again to find out how to just pay off the card and cancel it, I was told by the representative that I could pay my bill with him for a $10 fee but that I would have to call customer service to cancel the card.

Maybe there was something wrong with your internet....I have never been unable to login to my acct in the three years I have had mine. It just seems a bit strange that you could login nor received any mailed statements. I have only had to call once and really didn't have any unusual problems. These type of cards are for people who are looking to rebuild their credit. I have since done so thanks to paying ontime and keeping my limits below 50% and went from 550 credit rating to 712 now. I have kept my card with them out of loality but use it only once in a while, though they have increased my limits to 1800 along with lowering my interest rate. Hope you are able to straighten out your fininical difficulties with your internet issues and inability to pay on time before having to resort to paying over the phone.
