Credit Solutions belongs at #1 on the Rip Off Report. These guys are taking fees and doing nothing for consumers. Here are a few facts I've learned from talking to people I know at a few of the major national/global financial institutions...
-Debt settlement companies tell people not to open mail from creditors or take their calls. Would you like to know why? So the consumer has no idea what is happening. This is why many of these places also have consumers change their addresses and phone numbers to these places. I have heard some real horror stories about people who signed up with these companies, think everything is going well (Because there are no calls or letters from creditors), next thing they know, they receive notice to show up at court because they are being sued.

-I have learned that three large banks will not deal with these debt settlement companies or law firms. Citi, GE Money, and Bank of America. Depending on the balance, some of these accounts are immediately sent for legal action because debt settlement companies such as Credit Solutions refuses to honor the financial institution's request to cease accepting thier customers.

-FYI...Check the bank that finances your accounts if you've already signed up with CSA to make sure it isn't one of these banks financing your card/loan. I know that Citi finances cards such as Home Depot, Macy's, and many gas cards. GE Money finances accounts such as Wal Mart, Lowes, Sam's, JC Penney.
