Dell Computer Company Dell is not honoring the warranty on my LCD W2600 I bought it less than nine months ago Pittsfield Massachussetts

They new that they were selling a defective product from the first day, this TV W2600 26inch high definition TV, LCD. It has and had a power supply issue and they never made a recall on the TV. I am livid since I purchased mine at a retail store that had it on there warehouse and just sold it to me less than nine months ago. I paid top dollar for this and now it is dead. I am told it is out of warrantee and that the warantee was submitted in 2005... How, I am the owner this is ubsured.

I know from every Place and forum that this is open wide enough for a class action law suit, I am truly in need of my machine and can not use my pc now, unless I buy a new monitor, I am partially blind and a regular monitor will not serfice for me. I waited for years to buy this and saved my social security income to pay for it to only call them when I have this issue and they tell me to make my own repairs. And give me a third party web site to go to that sells parts and peices.

You may have unwillingly purchased a used or refurbished unit. Some retailers have a habit of placing returned merchandise back on the shelf. Some will resell it as "open box" and others will actually resell it as new (this is illegal.) It is also possible that you purchased a unit that was refurbished, BUT not refurbished by Dell or an authorized by Dell refurbisher.

Please tell us when and where you purchased this unit. Also tell us WHO is informing you that the unit was registered for warranty in 2005.
