Devry University misinformed, deceptive pitching practices, no help, ripoff, online classes did not work right, took money, failed in classes...etc.... Ft. Washington. Pennsylvania

i signed up to go to school at devry because i was over the age of 24...i did attend community college in the past so i figured that this school would be a good choice, since it offered a 3 year bachelors degree.

i was lied to by admissions advisors who assured me taking online classes was the same as taking classroom classes. i took my first 2 classes on a campus, but the housing was too expensive, i found out that 900 dollar apartments with two bedrooms could be rented outside of the housing agreement through devry, in which they place four people in a 2 bedroom apt.

so i decided it would be cheaper to take some online classes and find my own place somewhere. the first attempt at taking online classes, certain assignments would not get submitted even though i was ontime submitting them. i ended up getting failing grades because i kept trying to withdraw by calling the school....but i would never get to an actually representative always just voicemail.

i tried repeating the same two classes....two more times and had the same problems assignments that i submitted would not end up making it to the teachers and it would look as though i never did the work. devry tried withdrawing me altogether from the university after the third time....but when i threatened them with a lawsuit they placed me back into the classes. so i've been taken for three semesters worth of loans for two stupid classes that any idiot could pass.

devry does nothing to help it's students and takes their money...devry is the worst education institution i've ever attended and has caused my education to take a turn for the worse....i want my money back and i want a settlement for deceiving me into attending a worthless school, and wasting my time. from what i hear i'm not the only one this has happened to.
