Emc Mortgage constant harassment Irving Texas

Our mortgage was sold to EMC about seven years ago, and ever since they have been a problem. Our payments are on time, but that doesn't make any difference to this company. When our address was changed from a R D number to a street number for 911, even with a township letter and a Post Office letter, they refused to recognize that we had homeowners insurance for Three Years.

Last year we got late on paying our taxes, so they paid them and are forcing us to pay 130 dollars more a month, up from 790 to 930 a month. Maybe not a fortune, but our budget is squeezed. We paid our own taxes as soon as they come due this year, but they still hassled us, and want us to pay for next year, which is not due until June 2009. They threaten and promise to make our lives hell, and all for a balance of $45000.

(I have heard other companies repossessing cars for a late payment of 200 dollars. These companies are nuts! Congress needs to pass some laws, now that we finally have Democrats in the majority again, to give the ordinary people a break from this nutsiness going on in the business world.) If you don't have enough money, and plenty of businesses are panicking and laying off people, then you deserve to be put on the street? Even if you pay these guys, they still make your lives hell.
