Encore Financial Services ripoff credit building scam, credit card scam, loan scam Saint George Utah

I was contacted by telephone by this group, called the ENCE GROUP. They promised to help rebuild credit, and said they received my name because I had recently been turned down for credit (which was true, which was why I thought it was legitimate). They claimed their services were a guaranteed unsecured credit card, auto, personal and home loans, prescription drug discounts, and free gas coupons.

Instead, they gave me a website to which I could not log on. I called and they said it took 24 hours to activate my account. I asked why then their rep (Jeff Mora) stated I would have access immediately. She said he'd been in error. So, I waited.

After three days, the site disappeared entirely, and the customer service line no longer had anyone working there. But, what I did find were other reports on this site (Rip Off Report) which stated others had been ripped off by these people. So, I called my bank and closed my account, to prevent any means of Encore getting any money from me.

I have reported these scammers to the State of Utah Consumer Protection Division, to the Better Business Bureau in Utah, and now to this site as well. I sure hope they go out of business!
