Our Exprience has been similar to what the other people have reported.

We engaged Enterprise in May 2007 to move our belongings from NJ to CA. While the initial experience was alright once our belonging were delivered the real face of enterprise relocation came up.

Forget about the fact that we had to coordinate the pick up and delivery.

Firstly, our stuff was so poorly packaged, they broke one side table, lamp and tore apart the sofa and love seat covers. The contractor who delievere the stuff asked us to file a claim report with the insurance. After sending all the papers that the insurance company (Anthem) asked for we were told that a claim of $165 will be paid to us. Compared to the extent of damage we incurred this amount was peanuts. As we were too occupied with our work we accepted the claim amount, and frankly, we didn't have a choice either. After not hearing from them for months, I called Anthem, they said they already sent the check to Enterprise. When I called Enterprise i was told the HR is out for lunch, when I called again HR had already gone home (3:30 PM). I don't know why the insurance company couldn't send me the check directly or what HR has to do anything with the claim. Enterprise site says that after the check has been sent by the insurance company it will take another 90 days for them to process the refund to the customer. I waited for that time, then i started calling them everyday for a week. Everytime I got some lame excuse, HR is busy, HR is out etc etc, and of course no one returned the calls ever. One day Rachel picked up the phone and yelled at me that I do not need to call everyday, that they are too busy with their work and they will look at my file when they have time.

Unbelievable, but their rudeness was shocking. I kept pursuing with them calling them every week and I was told 2 weeks back that my check has been dispatched and would you like to believe it i have not received it yet.
Don't engage this company for work, they just hire some subcontractors, they have absolutely no honesty or ethics, they are plain cheaters.

I am considering filing a lawsuit if I don't get my refund soon. $165 is not a huge amount compared to the damage but it is about rip off and i won't let them rip me off so easily.

Michelle was promptly compensated for her claim and story is fabricated

Michelle, We are so sorry for your problems you may have incurred with our company. Sadly your alias" Tiger" is not noted in my system, but your real name, Michelle is. You forgot to mention that your were promply reimbursed for the $165.00. We have the copy of the cleared check if you or anyone else needs it. I dont recall any yelling matches with you or stating that I was too busy to talk to you. Hmm. are you sure you are reporting the correct company? Im pretty sure filing false and fabricated claims are illegal. According to your signed Legal and notarized addendum, your claim has been paid out and closed. We appreciate your claim, however, fabricating a story is very unethical. Anyway, we wish you luck with your future endeavors.
