Fairbanks Capital AKA Loan Servicing Center Ripoff monthly loan payments and will not update your information Nationwide

Fairbanks Capital corp AKA loan servicing center purchased my loan 1 year ago. I had no clue that they had purchased it. I called my old mortgage company and they informed me that Fairbanks would contact me.

It took 1 month later to hear from them. My letter was addressed from Loan Servicing Center. I called them and they answered the phone loan servicing center. Two people later to find out they are my new mortgagee.


Three months later I was running close to time mailing my payment. I paid to overnight it to the Arizonia, the overnight address on the back of the statement. It took over 1 month for it to post to my account.

I called 3 weeks after I mailed it and they informed that they still hadn't received it. I was quite mad by this point. I also had collectors calling me on my cell phone which I had changed the number in their files 5 times.(I don't know how they got my cell #)

After calling them and speaking with 3 people 1/2 hour later they tell me to send another payment they had not received it. I send another payment and pay $13.00 for the phonepay and place stop payment on the previous overnited check.

One week later the check tries to clear making this the 5th week and it was returned due to the Stop payment. Fairbanks then charges me the a late fee, extra intrest, and a stop payment fee. I have since paid $13.00 to either pay by phone or via Internet.

I am concerned that they are reporting negatively to my credit bureau late payments. Also by paying without mailing a check they will in the future claim I have not been making payments. I hope enough people read this before refiancing their home and their mortgage being sold.
