I signed up for a FREE credit score at freecreditscrore.com, makes sense right?
Well the next day I got charged for $24.95. When I called them they said I agreed on paying $25 to view all three credit scores and the price was displayed 4 times on the webpage before I agreed. There is NO WAY I would have agreed to pay for a credit score from a supposed FREE credit score service.
At first the customer service rep said there was a no refund policy but after continuing to complain the woman told me she could offer a one time courtesy refund of $10! What kind of BS is that??
I will never use this company again and will tell anyone who listens they are a scam and not to use them
Do not use this company!!

#2 Consumer Suggestion
Typicall of these companies

There are several similar companies like this. All claiming to give you your credit score for "free". As with everything you need to read all that fine print you agree to. In it it says something like "offer applies with enrollment in x program".
Its best to only get your credit score from myfico.com, as that's the one banks and lenders actually use (the one given by these sites is an estimate). Its not free, but the fee is cheaper than those scm sites and its only a one time charge.
Also never give billing details for a free trial. They do that so they can bill you later. If the trial is tpreally free they won't need billing information

Why did you give them your billing info for a free service?
