Freedomgold ripoff Largo Florida

Lets just say I'm an idiot. About two weeks ago I received a call from a lady. She told me because I paid one of my bills over the phone using a check, I was chosen for a freedom gold cited line and would receive 4 airline vouchers, and over 100 dollars in gas vouchers (who doesn't want free gas).

I was told that I could cancel at anytime before the 7 day trial period was over and I would not be billed but if I didn't then I would be billed a $149.00 enrollment fee. She already knew my name and telephone number and where I lived. She asked if I was still backing with the same branch. I told her yes and that was all she needed she then found my routing number over the internet (anyone can get this number all they need to know is your name and where you bank).

She read me the numbers and asked me to give her the last ten digits to confirm that it was really me well that's were I went wrong. I gave them to her. About a week later I got the envelope in the mail. I then called in canceled my membership with them. Five days later I was billed the $149.00. I have gone to my back and I don't think I will be getting any money back soon. This scam comes all the way from Largo Florida and now it has hit Modesto CA.

I'm a single mom with a son that's going to be one on the 21st the money that they stole from me was for his party. I'm contacting our local news team KCRA 3 so hopefully they can help get the word out!
