Companys like Gigmasters.com, Gigsalad,facebook, craigs list, that allow people to do what they want on their site are promoting under ground economy. LIFE saving services are being cut because of under ground economy. Child protection services, foster care, child care centers. Kids are not being protected because the states have no money. Kids are not being removed from dangerous homes because of lack of money. These directorys take no responsibility for the people on there sites. So the next time you see a trademark character at a kids birthday party, or phony trademark jump house, remember this.It is time for us to protect those who can't protect themself. These are my personal opinions.

What a bogus complaint

This complaint indicates no rip-off being perpetrated by Gigmasters or the other companies named. These companies only bring two parties together. It is the responsibility of the persons involved to obey state and local laws regarding their business.
Let's say that through Gigmasters, a festival hires me to do my chain saw juggling act. The festival has to have permits for their event. Not Gigmasters' responsibility to be sure these permits are obtained. It is the responsibility of local authorities to do this.
I need to know the licenses I need to provide the service. Again, not Gigmasters' responsibility. Plus, very often, since my services are a one time thing, I am either considered casual labor or their are other exemptions to licensing. But as a juggler, it is my responsibilty to obtain these and the responsibility of local authorities to see I comply.
